The check in and check out were quick and friendly. The room was an ok size with comfortable beds however, the room was ridiculously hot all night with a means to turn it down so, we had to have a desk fan on all night in February! Interestingly one was provided. The bathroom was a little tight but the main issue was the poor drainage which meant that when you flushed the toilet, water bubbled out of the bath waste and when you emptied the water out of the sink, water bubbled in the toilet and out of the bath waste. This caused a slight drainage smell which was originally masked by the fact that the room smelt of aftershave when we arrived. The restaurant served really nice food at a reasonable cost, definitely worth it.

Comfortable hotel in lovely surroundings. Adequate sized bedroom and comfy bed, clean, powerful shower. Nice breakfast.

Check in was straight forward, room was clean facilities were good, asked for stand alone shower rather than shower over bath which was nice. breakfast was very good also had a meal in the bar the night before which was good value and tasty , staff were very courteous. Very good value for money considering breakfast is included in the room rate.

The lighting in the room was poor. The room was clean and warm. The bed was comfy. The bathroom was looking a little tired around the shower area

This was a return stay as I'd been impressed before and it was just as i remembered it. Lovely room with comfy bed and nice shower. Amenities included my own iron and ironing board, fan and a green bin for recycling. The staff in the restaurant were lovely, very quick service, the food was delicious. Plenty of car parking space including charging points for electric vehicles. There's a petrol station as soon as you come out of the hotel site as well. Straight off the motorway. If I'm staying near Exeter, this is the hotel I'll stay at everytime.

The bed was lovely and comfortable, the room smelt slightly as if someone had smoked in it and the security door into the block could do with some oil as it was very squeaky. The bar and restaurant were excellent, we had a delicious meal. The staff were lovely and very helpful and so I would definitely recommend staying here.

I was in room 45 which was lovely but was surrounded by noisy men. Kept going in & out of each others rooms, shouting through the corridor, in & out of the hallway slamming doors until 2am. Then up at 6am doing the same
