This was just a quick overnight stay having arrived at the airport that afternoon, before we set off for our rental in Sardinia. It was very nice and the staff were great, very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast in the morning was excellent with a great view of the city. My only niggle would be the parking, the procedure for which is fiddly, which is off-site and which they charge extra for. A small thing, and it certainly didn't ruin our stay in a hotel I would always recommend to anyone staying in Alhegro.

Très bonne situation, personnel très agréable et disponible, le petit-déjeuner copieux et de bonne qualité avec une super vue sur la mer. Un petit effort devrait être fait pour la literie qui était assez spartiate pour un 4 étoiles, les oreillers sont plats, le matelas est fin et il n'y a pas de couette mais des couvertures à l'ancienne. Aussi la clim n'est pas réglable pour mettre de la chaleur en Italie, en hiver, et on a eu un peu froid la nuit.

We got a junior suite with the balcony and the view alone was worth it. Loved the proximity to old town and the bed was comfortable. The front desk was friendly, and I was glad they had a breakfast buffet. It was eggs, meat, pastries, coffee - so pretty substantial. The parking was in an offsite garage about a 5-8 minute walk from the hotel and it was a little difficult to get in and out of, but I was glad they had parking. I would stay here again.

Chambre familiale spacieuse et très propre, vue du restaurant superbe, buffet du petit déjeuner avec beaucoup de choix. Hôtel très bien situé pour visiter Alghero. Ce que l’on a moins aimé: l’accueil du personnel à la réception pas spécialement chaleureux et un des lits de nos filles n’était pas confortable

grandiose Aussicht von der Frühstücksetage

Das Frühstücksbuffet an und für sich war ausgezeichnet. Das Personal sollte jedoch anstelle von Sitzplatzzuweisungen lieber öfter nachsehen, ob etwas leer ist. Während meines Frühstücks, ca. 30 Minuten lang, wurde der Wärmebehälter mit gebratenem Speck nicht ein einziges Mal aufgefüllt, sondern er war leer. Man ist nicht sehr raucherfreundlich. Nachts ist die Dachgeschossterrasse im 9. Stock geschlossen, und nur im 1. Stock ist eine Terrasse offen. Ich hatte mehrere Tage vor Anreise darum gebeten, ein Zimmer in der Nähe eines der beiden Raucherbereiche zu bekommen. Das Gegenteil war der Fall: Man gab mir ein Zimmer genau in der Mitte im 5. Stock, welches auch noch das am weitesten entfernte Zimmer vom Aufzug war. Sprachlich finde ich es schade, dass ein Hotel namens Catalunya in der gleichnamigen Straße, welches sich überall mit katalanischen Flaggen stolz der lokalen Kulturgeschichte präsentiert, kein Personal hat, welches auch Katalanisch spricht. Sämtliche Hotelinformationen, Kärtchen, Aufschriften waren ebenfalls nur auf Italienisch und Englisch verfügbar, nicht jedoch auch auf Katalanisch. Der Gesamtpreis von 120 € inkl. aller Steuern war dann für eine Nacht in der Nebensaison doch etwas arg hoch, meines Erachtens nach.
