We only stayed for one night but it was a great place to relax. We walked around the castle grounds and the kids loved the pool. The staff were really friendly. We liked that there was a pub on site.

It was just okay. The rooms are dated and carpets could use a good cleaning. Rooms were very hot. Beds not super comfortable. The best part of the stay was Shanigan's Gastro Pub. I wouldn't go out of my way to stay there again.

Hotel does not have air conditioning

This hotel had no air conditioning on days when the temperatures went above 23*C. A small fan was provided which was not enough to cool the room. It was uncomfortable to sleep at nights. The location is great and breakfast was excellent. I would stay here again however the hotel should consider adding A/C for the hot summer days

Absolutely nothing to complain about. Only there for a night (wedding) and didn’t get to try all the facilities. All good and nice.

Conveniently located hostel style hotel with bunk beds. Family of four had a great time.

OK boende men det var några saker som inte var OK. Toaletten gick inte att stänga i vårt rum. När jag skulle duscha klickan 08:00 på avresdagen var vattnet kallt vilket inte är OK. Frukosten hade i stort sett bara Irländsk frukost. Ingen ost eller andra pålägg. Vid betalningen på restaurangen fick jag aldrig välja att betala med EUR så jag fick en extra växlingsavgift. Helt OK läge att utgå ifrån om vill utforska sydvästra Irland.

Nice, spacious, clean room. Very nice bathroom. While the bed was as such comfortable, it was a bit short, if you're 170 cm or taller your feet will be sticking out of the bed. Great swimming pool/welness area!

This place was clean, quiet, and safe, and is in a pretty setting near/on estate lands. Very convenient from the highway for access to local tourist spots and Shannon Airport. The hotel is super large and sprawling. It seems to be very popular with young families. At our Expedia rate it was pretty basic in terms of amenities. We took a look at the breakfast, which wasn't included in our rate, and it also seemed basic, so we gave it a pass. Great local bakeries and other spots to choose from though, so that shouldn't stop you. Good value overall.

Clean, comfy, quiet room. I asked the man on reception if it was ok for my 16 year old son to come into the bar with me to watch the live band- he was very stern and said he would turn a blind eye and my son would not be allowed alcohol and that they would be ‘watching’!! I wouldn’t allow my son to drink alcohol, I just wanted him to be able to watch the live band (who were very entertaining!) so I was surprised to see the bar had lots of children running around after 9pm! I felt the man was very annoyed about being asked!! (Friday 3rd July’26)

Very convenient to Shannon Airport. Excellent place to stay the day before a flight. Decent restaurant on site with full Irish breakfast buffet in the AM if you choose the package. Comfortable beds.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast buffet was definitely a treat, several items to choose from. The facility is showing its age and need for improvement.

Only an overnight stay but hotel was lovely, bar meal was very good and staff helped to ensure an early breakfast before an early check out.

I was quite disappointed by this hotel. The photos definitely look better than the reality. The beds were uncomfortable and the pillows were thin and like cardboard. It was much more basic than we had expected.
