Nothing to add

Room looks nothing likes its picture. Found ourselves in a dark room with frosted glass. Windo could only be opened a couple of inches. When looking over the frosted bit we realised why it couldn’t open completely as it looked over the building with the laundry and the sauna. Bit surprised we could see into sauna. Power cut this morning but not hotel fault. Would have been nice stay but for the dark room with view. That’s not what I paid for or in any of the pictures

Property was clean and well maintained. Staff was kind and courteous. Room was brutally hot with no Air Conditioning. I asked for fans and they provided up to 3 fans but they just circulated very hot air. I eventually resorted to removing all my clothing and wrapping my body in a wet towel in an effort to get some rest. I returned home to the US sick with chest congestion and am now under the care of a doctor who is treating me for my symptoms. Although it’s a lovely I will not return to Drift inn during the summer

Overall, it was good. However, the spa was anything but. Rather than relaxing, the pool was noisier than an Irish bar on St Patrick's day. With treatments, as they were not very good at all.

No air on in bearable heat

This would have earned 5 stars but for a few things. After a slick check in at 3.15 we headed for our room 183 ground floor. Room was ok, modern, minimalist with good coffee bags as opposed to instant. The downside was the grout in floor tiles needs a good scrub/bleach, and the towel rail needs a wipe from previous splats. Room was 30 degrees but our stay was in extreme weather. There was a fan which we used. I like the option to not have a room clean and donate to charities. We chose the hotel to use the facitites and games ahead of a wedding next day so were keen to get some down time and fun. We paid for the electric darts but the board was faulty neither Louis nor maintenance couldnt get it working so we had to wait for the other board to be free. After 20 mins, Louis set us up on the working board and after 5 mins there was a power cut! The whole place was shut down. Everyone went to the bar but they couldnt serve as electric pumps. The Manager refused to sell bottles and take cash. So, with no knowledge of when the electric would be on, we, and a few other guests went to The Crown (part of Premier Inn). We came back to the hotel about 9.30 and the electric was back on. We ordered pizza but when it came it had hardly any topping so Louis had it changed. It was nice when done right. We feel for what we paid and for the time we were able to use the facilities we might as well stopped at the Premier Inn for half the price. A disappointing stay with no apologies.

Nice room, tasty breakfast, lots of parking available

Clean room. Lobby staff friendly and lovely location. Downfall was arriving with the weather being 30°c and no air-conditioning in the room/block. Lift didn't work (not a major thing as I am able to use stairs), ridiculous process to use the gym as I guess and so was fobbed off by a girl at reception that I could not enter without some sort of pass that I didn't have on me and wasn't explained any of this at reception. It was already a challenge to motivate myself after a long day at work and couldn't be bothered to trapse around to try and figue out what I needed. I'll not stay again

As soon as I walked in greeted with a smile and directions on where to check in. The staff at reception and cafe were polite friendly and very welcoming. The room was a good size with USB ports, bathroom also was a good size, no A/C in the room but was provided a fan. The bed in my opinion (and just my preference) was a bit hard, but being honest you will never please everyone as everyone preference are different. Overall good, clean friendly hotel with lovely views. P.S smoking shelter at the front required a clean

Where our room was above the pool noisy

Check in was easy, room was okay for price , I asked to add some nice touches as it was my anniversary and I’d pay extra, they just left a note on the bed. Could not use the swimming pool as advertised on the booking as swimming lessons were being done. Staff didn’t tell me that even though they gave me towels and told me where the pool was.

Was just too hot, 32 in room when arrived, only managed to get down to 29 by the morning

Disappointing and overpriced stay Booked Drift Inn for a birthday stay mainly for the pool/sauna, but left really disappointed. Decor is bright and modern, and the room was clean, quiet and the bed comfortable. Corridors smelled nice too. But there were visible stains and the room was far too hot. No air con and the fan was useless. I slept outside the duvet and my husband was sweating all night. Reception felt impersonal with self check in screens. Staff member looked bored and was vague when we asked about the pool, just pointing “over there” across the car park. Cafe Bar was a let down. Tables were dirty with old plates left. We were told we could eat outside, chose a sunny jetty table, then told after 6pm food wasn’t allowed there, only in the shaded area. This wasn’t explained upfront. We didn’t eat as it felt unclean and badly run. Leisure facilities are in a separate building across a car park/road and run by another company. We were told to call ahead as access isn’t guaranteed due to classes, even on a Sunday. Not the relaxed experience advertised. Breakfast food was nice, but layout poor. By the time you’d fetched everything it was cold. Poached egg arrived as we finished. Menus cleared early. Not a cheap stay. Felt disjointed and not worth the money. Wouldn’t return.

It was a clean room with spotless facilities.

Room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. We loved the on sight bar area where you could play games such as darts, shuffleboard, ps5, very chilled vibe.
