We stayed a week, 2 rooms a family of 6, kids ranging in age from 14-20. The entertainment staff is great. They try to engage the crowd at the pool . The night entertainment was good too with the shows offered nightly . the reservation system is awful. Reservations are only made same day, the food wasn’t great. We only liked the hibachi restaurant. Same food offered every day at the buffet. The grounds are kept clean but we prefer an all inclusive with more nightlife and a variety of food. We will not be returning and have gotten a lot better amenities for the same money at other resorts .

He ido en 4 ocasiones previas. Esta fue la última. Tuvimos muy mala experiencia. Si eres extranjero toma en cuenta que NO HAY MAR, esta llena de sargazo y no te puedes meter. NO HAY actividades nocturnas ni amenidades ni nada despues de las 7pm, un saxofon unos minutos, unos bailando en la piscina, pero nada que valga la pena. La comida muy muy mala. Cuando llegue veia como a los extranjeros les ofrecian bebidas y a nosotros no, estuve en fila para hacer check in 40 minutos y ya que nos toca, nos dejaron esperando nuevamente para atender a un canadiense! Me dijeron le vamos a dar un upgrade de habitacion, pero resulto estar LEJISIMOS DE TODO, teniamos que caminar MUCHISIMO para llegar a la alberca y a los restaurantes, yo NO RESERVE AHI, y si te van a dar habitacion en la zona privilege minimo deberian dejarte usar las instalaciones de ese lado si no para que???? al final el ultimo dia me entere que es porque el hotel esta en remodelacion y toda una zona la tienen cerrada. Si eres mexicano, pésima atención, TODOS atienden de mala gana y con mala cara, TODOS. Te hacen esperar si hay un extranjero en los bares, en el restaurante buffete te dan los asientos donde hay calor. En el restaurante buffete las que acomodan muy groseras, En el restaurante italiano se veia la diferencia de como nos atendieron a nosotras y como a los de la mesa de al lado. En fin una PESIMA EXPERIENCIA. No volveria nunca, a menos que me lo regalen o este MUY BARATO y sin interactuar con nadie.

DO NOT GO! Upon arrival, we paid an extra $500 to upgrade our three rooms to ocean-view accommodations. While the view was beautiful, the room itself was not. We understand that seaweed odors are beyond the resort’s control, but we later learned our room was located near an area where sewage drained onto the property. The smell was overwhelming. To make matters worse, the air conditioning and ceiling fan were not working properly. We reported the issue and were told it had been fixed, but that night the room remained unbearably hot and the odor was so awful that I went to the front desk at 1 a.m. to request a room change. After fighting with the staff, we were finally moved. The next morning met with management to refund the $500 upgrade fee, they refused. Instead, they moved us to the “Privileged” section, but the restaurant was fully booked for our the remainder of the stay. The biggest disappointment came when our party of seven ate at the Japanese restaurant. Every one of us got FOOD POISONING and we spent our final day of vacation in bed. Management did NOTHING. Unfortunately, we found the food quality throughout the resort to be AWFUL. Despite the numerous issues, the resort offered no meaningful compensation. The one exception was OSCAR at the concierge desk, was amazing. genuinely cared about our experience. Between the room conditions, awful food, lack of responsiveness from management, and illness that affected our entire group WE HAD THE WORST TIME EVER

The resort is amazing! Well taken care off and the staff was wonderful! Rooms were well maintained and very updated. The only issue we had was making dinner reservations. There's got to be an easier way to reserve a time and place without jumping through hoops.

Unfortunately, this stay was very disappointing compared to my previous visits a few years ago. The dinner buffet was closed due to occupancy issues, which forced guests to rely on the specialty restaurants. Even when trying to book reservations right when they opened at 10 a.m., I was never able to get a dinner time earlier than 9 p.m. The beach was also never cleared of seaweed during my entire stay, which made it difficult to fully enjoy the ocean and beachfront area. Another major issue was the raccoons throughout the resort. They frequently jumped onto tables and approached guests while they were eating, which became uncomfortable and disruptive. The highlights of the resort were definitely the nightly entertainment, the pools, and the bartenders, who were all fantastic. However, overall I was very saddened by the decline in the resort’s condition since my last visit.

The stay at the hotel was amazing! Ricardo, Gustavo, Antonio, and many more employees whose name’s I am blanking out on were amazing. The food, drinks and activities were really fun. I recommend Ocean 10000%! Everyone should stay here, I promise you won’t be disappointed.

We had a great time staying in junior suites and enjoyed the food at the dining place. There is not much place to hang out. We liked the coffee shop. The beach was full of seaweed and the smells around the resorts were very bad.

The Sargassum on the beach was really bad this time. I know there isn’t much the resort can do about it.

Excellent vacation

If I could give it 0 stars I would ! Stay away the place is infested with raccoons that are out around the oool drinking from the pool water and your drinks .they jump onto the tables in restaurants or under your feet . We went to get ice cream and were surrounded we couldn’t even go outside of the shop . Having my 3.5 year old with me made my anxiety level go through the roof because she was scared and I was scared for myself and especially for her . At night the raccoons were on top of the blackstone and salad bar area which was not covered or closed off in the jelly snack bar cafe by the waterside side . I wouldnt be surprised if that’s what the burgers are made of . The buffet was closed for dinner the first 3 nights we were there and at least the night before we were leaving and the day we were leaving . The beach was covered in sargassum and smell coming from it was like a sewer . Our room wasn’t cleaned until after 5pm and that was after complaining several times to front desk . Foot bridge leading from our building to the main side was taken apart and was closed off for the last 2 days we were there and we were never told about no beach or repairs needing to be done or that the buffet would be closed for at least 4 of the days we were there . . WiFi went out and was going in and out for almost a day . This is definitely not 5 star resort ! Could not use water sports since you cannot go into the water and absolutely no effort to clean it

My boyfriend and I loved the hotel! Every single staff was so nice and very helpful with everything! They made me feel special on my birthday !

The Resort is amazing! Employees are very kinfd! The room was clean every day! Food in restaurants are good! I recommend the Hotel 100%

This resort has been one of the best I have been so far. Honestly the staff was nice but Sebastian in particular was an amazing worker. He made sure everything was good every day we were there. The food there are so many restaurants in the property that you can choose from and they are all so good!!!! I can’t wait to come back and visit again 1000/10
