We had such an amazing time at Contessina celebrating our anniversary/my partners belated birthday. As soon as we arrived the staff were so lovely and welcoming – we were delighted to be given an upgraded room with a private pool this truly made our trip extra special and we were so grateful for that!! Overall the ambience of the hotel is sooo peaceful, from the well equipped gym, the gorgeous poolside bar and chill areas to the exquisite breakfast. This hotel is a must stay in Zakynthos! We wanted to say a special thanks to Christina at the bar who made the best cocktails and was truly a ray of sunshine to see every day! Thanks again to everyone at the hotel who made our trip so special – we will be back hopefully very soon! Thanks again, Gaby & Dom x

The breakfast spread is a beautiful sight, with every nut, grain, and dried fruit neatly stored in glass jars. The table is set with speckled plates and fine china, adding a touch of elegance. The rattan and wooden furniture, in warm beige, brown, and stone tones, create a cozy and natural atmosphere. The vines draping over the balcony bring a lush, botanical feel that adds to the charm of the space. The staff are incredible. The staff here are genuinely friendly, always smiling, and approachable. I've met such simple, yet happy and beautiful souls—an experience that has been truly eye-opening. I came here seeking solitude, and I've found the perfect space to unwind and recharge. The scenery is breathtaking; the beach is a serene retreat with its fresh, calming atmosphere. I could easily spend the entire day there, listening to the rhythmic crash of waves against the shore, just me, my book, and the gentle hum of people laughing, swimming, and chatting with loved ones. I’m not ready to leave yet, but I know I’ll be back again.

Absolutely stunning hotel, with great design aesthetic. It's an oasis of calm in quite a hectic area. Lovely pool areas and the food at breakfast and dinner (we went half board) was delicious. Lots of vegan/vegetarian options in the evening. The gym was small, but adequate (had Smith and cable machines). The bed was on the small side, at 6'4" / 193cm, I hung off the end but that was the only niggle!

Our flight to Zakinthos from Athens had to return to Athens due to inclimate weather so we let the hotel know that we would not arrive until the next day. The hotel staff assured us that our rooms would be ready and waiting for us when we got there. Upon arrival, we were told the rooms would be freshened up before we received the key. We were told to go to the breakfast buffet and have a meal. After waiting over an hour for a “room refresh”, we realized that the rooms were most likely used by other customers who were to check out by 11:00 and that was why we had to wait. This means the hotel probably was double paid for our rooms for the night we missed. My daughter went to the front desk and complained and magically our rooms became “refreshed” within about 30 minutes. Just enough time to flip the rooms used that night by other hotel patrons! Not a good look!!!

Lovely clean hotel, very central in the town and loads to do nearby. Only let down by some bar staff - crazy long wait for drinks despite at not being busy at all

Hotel lindo. Porém o jantar é desolador.no primeiro dia a única carne era hambúrguer e gyros. Ou seja comida de criança para um hotel de 5 estrelas caro.nem arroz simples nada.muito fraco o buffet.bebidas absurdamente caras.qualidade preço não justifica

We liked the hotel it had limited space as a whole and although there was parking it was a challenge to get in and out. Overall crowded and small hotel. Very clean but the pools were full of people with no space between areas felt very small as a whole. Would love something a bit more private next time
