Quiet location closed to park

Close to Kelvingrove park. Staff are friendly and the room is clean

Clean room, great staffs, kitchen was clean. Location was good right at the west end. However, there was no elevator. People travelling with luggage’s is really difficult to carry them through the endless staircases to reach to the room. I would highly recommend all the hosteling Scotland's should have lift/elevator at least. Thanks

Staff were friendly and helpful. I loved the vintage feel it had. It overlooked a beautiful park where I spent a lot of time at. There a lot of stairs and no lift though. But I still had a nice stay.

El personal fue muy amable y atento, dispuestos a ayudar siempre y hacerse entender. Está muy bien ubicado, cerca del centro histórico y de la zona universitaria. El edificio es precioso y tiene un encanto y personalidad únicos. Aún así la antigüedad del edificio se nota en las instalaciones que son bastante frías.

Room was clean, shower was good. No driers, between the check out and check in time is obviously no staff time. I kept my luggage in the luggage room but could not find it immediately because i want it back during no staff time. Although one staff came out after few hours later, so that I could return my luggage back.

Stayed one night for a night out. Got a twin room. Everything was clean. As it's a youth hostel it is basic accommodation but the staff were nice and friendly and the bedding was clean. Would stay here again if going for a night out.

Clean room and location

This is a great hostel! The location is convenient for visiting Glasgow's west end and Kelvingrove Museum and park as well as Glasgow University. Its location is quiet and beautiful. The services and amenities are well-organized and clean. I would stay here again. The only negative would be that the walls can be thin and you may hear people in the next room. However, I found that people respected the 10 pm limit on any noise.

The room was basic but good and the hostel is a fine place to spend time.

El alojamiento no tenía calefacción, hacía muchísimo frío dentro. Esto pasaba hacia más de una semana, apenas pudimos dormir y ni tan siquiera pudimos ducharnos por que hacía más frío que en la calle. Sin ninguna solución ni alternativa desde el alojamiento....

This was a great place to stay to explore the area around the University of Glasgow. The rooms are clean and their is a luggage storage room for after you check out.

Excellent city hostel, good central location for access to city and local park museum and university. Excellent kitchen area, fridges very good, separate dining area. 2 lounges with exceent space. Drying room excellent

Okay for the price, lack of electrical outlets and broken laundry machines/electronics in common area’s.

It was a beautiful old building and everything was great.

Sehr guter Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis. Zwar liegt das Hostel etwas außerhalb, man kommt aber gut überall hin. Dafür ist es schon ruhig. Ich habe nichts vermisst.

Perfect stay for visiting Glasgow, and the OVO Hydro Arena, just the beds were very small, better book a room for 4 and use it with 2 people, as a double bed.

Great value hostel in a lovely building, my single room was quite big and I was a bit disappointed by the lack of table as there was enough space but it wasn't a big setback. Beware its location is a bit further out from central Glasgow but wonderful if you want to be right by Kelvinbridge Park. Also the 4pm check in time is a bit later than normal so that was inconvenient. Otherwise no huge issues though.

A simple room but it had everything that I needed for my stay. The property/room was warm, very well maintained and clean. The staff were very helpful and polite. I'd certainly stay at this location again. Top marks all round.
