Great location to the conference I was attending

Beautiful hotel and grounds. The buffet breakfast was excellent - one of the best I have had. The spa is very relaxing and spacious. Take note: you have to book your slot in the pool / jacuzzi, so plan ahead if you can.

Breakfast has so many options and was lovely and fresh. Staff were very friendly and always smiley and helpfull and the pool/spa was very relaxing would definitely recommend staying here

Staff amazing

My Easter stay at the Celtic Manor was faultless. The staff were helpful, courteous and efficient. A heartfelt thanks to the member of staff who helped me with my bags and gave me a lift to the upper carpark. I am elderly and this gesture was really appreciated. The room was clean and comfortable. I had a lovely swim in the pool and appreciated a stint in the sauna, which was thoroughly relaxing. The breakfast was brilliant, as always, including a cooked breakfast, choice of fruit, yoghourts, toast etc. I am a coeliac and this is catered for. Thank you, the Celtic Manor, for making mine and my family`s stay so enjoyable !

Place was dirty and old

Everything was lovely , only issue was screaming kids in the swimming pool Saturday afternoon

ALL the staff were great. The table service at the Merlin bar was very slow. But it was busy. They only had 1 lift (out of 3)working that day which made us get our steps in. Food was amazing! But I do not like , and The Manor is not alone in this, that a service charge is added automatically to our bill. The golf experience was great. Lifts to and from the courses all complimentary, and there is also the added bonus of free charging at the outside carpark, and plenty of them too! I had a great time her. Loved my room and the bath!

Great stay in a lovely golf location! Played the twenty ten course was a shuttle ride away and the service there was superb!

Have stayed here quite a few times but this one was not as good. Of the 3 lifts one was working and at breakfast things could have been better organised. There was a large queue to get in but many of the tables were unavailable due to needing clearing rather than having people on them. There were two coffee machine yet only one worked. Food at the Grill was OK but could have been a bit better. The room was clean and the bed comfy. The staff were good and the live music in Merlin’s bar was a nice touch. The room itself was good value but other areas are letting things down.

Relaxing weekend break with friends, food and drinks were great. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only 1 lift was operational which was frustrating especially when your bedroom is on the top floor.

Not much for vegetarian.can be improved. Two lifts were not working. Nice hotel

Really lovely venue. Brilliant location / scenery.

Stayed on the signature lounge for the first time and it was perfect, lovely touches having the lounge area with free Prosecco, and breakfast in the morning on the 6th floor was exceptional

The property is very nice. The only complaint is that only one elevator was working. The hotel needs to be more proactive when all guests depend on it. Never saw anyone trying to fix the other two elevators.

I would have given it 5 stars but for the lift issues out of 3 lifts only one was working and it was near impossible to get in a lift as overcrowded and huge waits for the single lift
