The room was clean and the staff were very helpful. The attached restaurant, Reykjavik Bistro, was fabulous and the highlight. Highly recommend the fish stew!

Awesome room. FANTASTIC location for young adults wanting to experience some night life, dinner, and souvenir shopping. Luggage storage available even after you’ve checked out while you explore! Great booking!

I started out by booking the room for an extra night ahead of our actual scheduled arrival. We were scheduled to land at Reykjavik at 6:00 am of Saturday, so I booked as if we were staying Friday night as well to allow us immediate access to the room. The extra night was confirmed and ready for us when we did get there. We were given a room in a separate building in the back. The room was small, but very clean and nice and warm. This was all we needed, as except for sleeping we were never in the room. There is a complimentary breakfast every morning from 6:30 to 10:00 which is a huge perk as we were leaving very early every morning for our excursions. The hotel is located directly on the main shopping street and is a perfect location for exploring with many of the main attractions within walking distance. If you are booking tours, specify bus stop 6 as it is much closer to Hotel Fron than the tour company default of #14. Overall I highly recommend Hotel Fron and would stay there again if I return to Iceland.

Room clean if not a bit neglected

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral, die Zimmer haben eine gute Größe, das Frühstück war sehr gut!

This is a lovely hotel in central Reykjavík. Very comfortable and clean. Will absolutely stay here again when we return.

Room was big for a single. The shower water was a bit temperamental. The room was warm as well.

Bei meinem 2. Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel war mein Zimmer leider an der lauten Fußgängerzone. Ich habe am nächsten Morgen um ein ruhigeres Zimmer gebeten und habe das auch bekommen. Nun konnte ich wirklich sehr gut schlafen. Das Frühstück ist so wie man es in Island kennt. Man findet für jeden etwas. Mein Zimmer war groß und Dank der Ausstattung konnte ich mir auch Essen kochen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich würde auch ein 3. Mal wiederkommen.

La habitacion inpecable. El personal ambos dia y noche muy antipaticos. Se me complica el ingles y uno sabia español pero nunca quiso tener empatia hacia mi. Siempre con mala cara y para preguntarles algo la pensabamos. Le hubiera dado un 5

Un excelente hotel, en una calle principal, cerca de paradas de recogidas de tours, la habitaciones muy limpias y nuevas. Y el personal muy serio pero amable. Enfrente esta un bonus. Lo recomiendo 100%

Excellent location. Spacious room. Elevator. My only complaint is that parking is not guaranteed. They need to modify their expedia listing to explain that it's first come, first serve. After a long journey, it is frustrating to receive surprises like that. We searched for street parking and paid for it.
