Friendly helpful staff, great food, comfortable bedroom

Room was lovely and clean and comfortable friendly efficient staff , our room didn’t have a shower just a bath

Perfect situation, comfortable. Only downside was v small window in my room which needed more ventilation on an extremely hot weekend. Fans do not ventilate. I slept with the door open which was fine.

Coffee was undrinkable, pastry was soggy. Continental breakfast inedible.

Nice hotel very convenient for attaractions

I would be great if the White Hart Inn offered a simple takeaway breakfast (at a cheaper rate) for when you are in a rush to get on the road. Maybe a voucher deal for the coffee shop next door? I think a bar fridge in the room would mean one could stay longer and refrigerate snacks etc. Loved the dog friendly atmosphere and the staff were AMAZING.

The room and staff were lovely. Unfortunately the breakfast which I had thought was in luded was not and at £15 expensive...Our room had a constant loud banging noise all night from the balcony roof so we had no sleep.

Tea, coffee & hot chocolate available in the room with biscuits too. Great value room, comfortable bed, great location and quiet

Convenient to visit Wells Cathedral

Our room was lovely.

My husband and I stayed for one night and it was ideal. Centrally located, clean and great value. Plus the BEST shower we’ve ever had.

The Bar was brilliant with real ales etc. Breakfast was ok from a limited menu. But reasonable value.

We had a double room that was more than adequate for our one night stay

The room was not as I expected it. It was on the second floor of what looked to be an out building. There were a few things we were not happy with eg the kettle had to be plugged in on the flour by the bed ( lead too short) but the worst was the shower. It ran cold. We told the reception and they just said they knew and had passed it on to maintenance before but had done nothing about it. Not even an apology. We had not ordered breakfast at the time of booking thinking we could add it later as it was only £15 extra but when we arrived it was double that to add it. So we waited until breakfast to decide. In the morning at breakfast when we saw what was on offer it was so bad we left again without bothering. Instead we paid the same price in the swan hotel as a walk in- which was a magnificent breakfast.

I would stay again, a nice pub with rooms and a good breakfast. Large selection of artisan beers, and the food was nice and good value. It was right outside the Cathedral so very central, parking was a 5 or 10 min walk.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming and the room was fine. Just two thingxx as though which need improvement: - Wi-Fi was patchy at best. - Having gone to bed about 11, I couldn’t get to sleep because the bar music was blaring out into the courtyard below my room window and ended up phoning the hotel at11.30 to ask them to turn it off - though to be fair they did do that.
