I arrived late after an exhausting day of travel, made even longer by a four-hour delay waiting for my luggage.
As a solo female raveler, I found the hotel to be clean and felt safe during my stay. The front desk attendant was genuinely kind and welcoming, but he appeared to be working alone, and the hotel could benefit from additional staff.
The entrance has stairs, and there was no assistance with luggage. Guests are also required to leave their room key at the front desk whenever they leave the hotel, which is inconvenient when service is slow due to understaffing.
My room (403) smelled like steamed broccoli. The mattress was very hard, and the bedspread looked like a curtain. The bathroom was extremely small, and the shower was barely large enough to turn around in. I didn't sleep well at all and I was exhausted after traveling for 39 hours.
During my stay at the end of a heatwave, the air conditioning struggled to keep the room cool and comfortable.
Breakfast was disappointing. Several items that should have been served hot were only at room temperature, raising food safety concerns.
The hotel was clean, but it is overdue for adding USB outlets and moving the switches up. I was so relieved to be on the shuttle the next day and leaving this hotel. Definitely my worst stay abroad. Would not stay again.
One final note: taxis can have difficulty navigating to the hotel because of the surrounding pedestrian-only streets.
