This was easily one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in since arriving in Italy. We had air conditioning, a television, a great WiFi network, and a working fridge. This location is not central and we struggled finding a ride out in the morning but other than that Fiesole is a gorgeous town with phenomenal food and great views. Would stay again at Villa Bonelli in a heartbeat!

A lovely, quiet, and well-run hotel with beautiful views. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it!

The good: Fiesole is a tranquil little town and an easy 15 minute bus ride into downtown Florence. We saw many hikers and cyclists passing through. The bad: the hotel is dingy and charmless. It advertises views of the Tuscan countryside but these are a sliver at best. Our room had a moldy shower, stained curtain, and repainted second hand furniture. The front desk is not manned 24/7. The breakfast is so-so. In short, if you want to avoid the pricier hotels in town, or access to local hiking trails, this is a good option, otherwise be prepared to be somewhat depressed by your rooms.

Wonderful young lady at check in and a fantastic breakfast! Sweet rooms and view. Don’t try to drive up the road to the hotel. Its treacherous!
