Close enough to sightseeing attractions (easily reached by metro or taxi) but in a quiet neighborhood near a park. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. The room was clean with a lovely shower and comfortable bed. The breakfast buffet was well worth it. There were lots of options from pastries to cereal, yogurt, fruit, breads, ham, cheese etc. Coffee, juice and water plus churros! So yummy you won’t need to eat again until dinner!

Wir waren schon zum 2x Gast in diesem Hotel und kommen gern wieder. Das Personal an Rezeption und beim Frühstück ist überaus freundlich. Das Frühstück ist hervorragend, die Anbindung der öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel super und ein Supermarkt gleich um die Ecke. Ich fand schön, dass man die Möglichkeit hat, zu bestimmen, wann die Handtücher gewechselt werden müssen. Umweltschutz ist eine super Sache, aber dafür sollten wenigstens die Mülleimer im Zimmer geleert werden. Dass ist aber der einzige Minuspunkt der Unterkunft.

Excellent breakfast, some warm items not just continental, fresh orange juice from one of those machines. Very stylish hotel, might get a little warm in summer I suspect but I was there in March and it was cool enough with 17/18 degrees outside.

Lots of disturbing noises from water pipes during the night make it difficult to sleep. Otherwise, it's an extremely clean and tidy hotel with helpful staff.

No primeiro dia colocaram em um quarto do térreo com vista para um terreno baldio, o chuveiro não tinha água quente! No outro dia havia muito barulho de uma obra, pedi para trocar de quarto! A portaria me ofereceu um quarto com cama separada e de frente para a rua! Disse que não sabe o motivo de colocarem no térreo, pois tinha uma reserva de quarto com upgrade! Não volto!

Quarto enorme, limpo, silencioso. O hotel é antigo, mas tudo impecável. Funcionários atenciosos e ótima localização, perto de supermercados (el corte inglês fica uma quadra de distância, o dia na esquina de trás e outros dois continuando o quarteirão), perto de redes de fast food, pertinho do metrô e ponto de ônibus. Amamos nosso tempo em Madri e esse hotel completou a experiência positiva.

Courteous staff, clean rooms, good view

The room had terrible sound insulation. I could literally hear conversations in the room next door, as well as every time the guests above me used the shower, bathroom, or ran the water. On top of that, I could hear cleaning staff in the hallways and other noises throughout the day. I stayed 5 nights and didn’t have a single good night’s sleep. The mattress made things worse. It was extremely uncomfortable, with noticeable indentations on both sides, creating a raised “mountain-like” effect in the middle. And the pillows were a whole different story. One was super thin, paper thin, and the other was too thick! The room itself was uncomfortably small. There was no space to open my luggage except on the desk, which I had to constantly move things around on whenever I needed the surface. The closet was tiny, and the room lacked basic amenities I would expect from a 4-star hotel, such as an iron and ironing board, hot water kettle, and coffee machine. I was also surprised by the hotel’s welcome message, which essentially warned guests not to trust the cleaning staff and advised that all valuables be kept in the safe. For a 4-star hotel, this felt very off-putting. Overall, I don’t think the stay was worth the price. On a positive note, the location is fantastic. There’s a metro station just 5 minutes away, the city center is walkable in 20–25 minutes, and there are plenty of convenience stores and restaurants nearby.
