The breakfast was decent for the price. The room had nice air conditioning in the main living space but the bedrooms were a bit warm. Close to tourist destinations

Excelente ubicación, habitaciones limpias con regadera agradable. Nos permitieron dejar las maletas para poder conocer la ciudad pues llegamos antes de la hora adecuade para hacer el check-inn.

Det var et dejligt hotel, som ligger tæt på den gamle bydel og tæt på stationen. Morgenmaden var udemærket, men spis tidligt da der kommer mange senere, og personalet for travlt. Der er plads til at rejse med mindre børn, jeg havde min søn på 1,9 med og det gik så fint.

Rigtig god placering ift. byen, dog ingen parkering tæt på.

Ficamos em suíte família enorme. Éramos 2 adultos e duas crianças e acomodou super bem. Por ser verão o ar condicionado do quarto não esfriava tão bem, não fazia calor, mas ficava no limite. O quarto tinha dois banheiros e ficamos muito confortáveis. O café da manhã delicioso. A localização espetacular. 5 min da estação de trem e da catedr Notre Dame.

Street the hotel is on seems a bit sketchy, but the hotel inside is very nice. Hard to access by car because officially the road seems to be no cars (although cars drive/park on it anyways). Parkade they recommend is a close and easy 10 min walk or so. Hotel does not have AC, but they use geothermal cooling or something which definitely helped us beat the heat during the European heat wave. The staff offered a fan, and brought it up quickly when we accepted. Comfortable room, great location, would return.

ClapClap Hotel exceeded our expectations. The staff was genuinely welcoming, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. The rooms were modern, clean, and comfortable, making it a great base for exploring Strasbourg. The standout was the breakfast—fresh, varied, and exceptionally well prepared, with plenty of high-quality local options. One of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve had during our trip. Excellent value, great atmosphere, and a place we’d happily stay at again.

We had a great room, a suite with two bedrooms. Room was clean and the location of the hotel is great! But the air conditioning was awful. It didn’t work at all, plus it was so loud it was hard to sleep. The pillows were uncomfortable. But, are you a vacationer or a traveller? If you can have some discomfort for the sake of a good price and location then it’s a good option.

Attention: I booked a room for three people with air conditioning. The Expedia page clearly showed “Klimaanlage” in the room description, and the photos also indicated air conditioning. At check-in, however, the reception staff first told me that there were no rooms with air conditioning. When I showed them the Expedia page, they claimed that “Klimaanlage” meant “cleaning service,” which is not correct. I live in Germany and speak German, so this explanation made no sense to me. After I refused to accept a room without the amenity I had booked and paid for, I was suddenly given a room with air conditioning. The explanation then changed: apparently there were only a few rooms with air conditioning, and the staff member said she had not known. The whole situation was very unpleasant. The staff were dismissive, unfriendly, and I felt I was not taken seriously. Their attitude, including eye rolling and contradictory explanations, was unacceptable. I also want to mention that the room was first described as not ready, but when I insisted on seeing the room, it suddenly turned out to be ready. The way we were treated made me wonder whether we were treated differently because we are Asian. I cannot know the reason, but that is honestly how I felt. I travel frequently, and I have rarely felt this mistreated at a hotel. The hotel management should seriously look into how confirmed room amenities are handled and how guests are treated at reception. No one apologized, either.

A/C did not work at all. Asked to change rooms or have it fixed and they responded by saying the technician wouldn’t come back until after our stay, and they had no other rooms. However it showed that we could book a room that was available.

Great hotel. Very conveniently located. Parking in the surrounding area was tricky, but luckily, we were returning our rental car anyway. Staff at the front desk had a great recommendation for a taxi company to help us continue our trip. Had dinner at The Tiger across the street - it was wonderful. Super clean and spacious.
