Very beautiful hotel, vintage style. Water bus stops right in front. Staff was nice and helpful. The bathroom was very clean and very nice :)

Clean room, kind and helpful staff. Breakfast was standard for the Venice region. The location is excellent for getting around by public transport, and the restaurant across the canal, with the same name as the hotel, is very pleasant. Unfortunately, we couldn't benefit from the 10% discount at the restaurant for being a hotel guest, as we only found out about it afterwards. The room's air conditioning was excellent. There is the option to pay a little more for a room with a view of the canal right in front, but if you are on the ground floor or first floor, you may only be able to see the public transport stop (as was our case). We were given a room right in front of the hotel's small kitchen, so early in the morning, around 6 am, the noise was quite bothersome. Another point is that the room didn't have blinds that completely closed the window, and there was a lot of light early in the morning (6 am), disturbing our sleep.

No hot water on first night.

The location was the only positive aspect of this hotel. It advertises itself as a 3-star property, but I wouldn’t even rate it half a star. The rooms were extremely small, outdated, and dirty. The beds were like sleeping on boulders, and I woke up with body aches every morning. The floors were dirty and warped, making the room feel even more neglected. While the bathrooms appeared to have been renovated, the work looked very cheap and low quality. One of the biggest concerns was that the room doors did not latch properly unless they were slammed shut. A hotel room door should close and lock securely without having to force it, and this was both frustrating and concerning from a safety standpoint. If you’re choosing this hotel because of the nearby water bus stop, be aware that the stop directly in front of the hotel does not provide service to the airport. You’ll need to travel to another stop to catch the airport water bus, which was disappointing and inconvenient. We were so put off by the overall cleanliness and condition of the hotel that we didn’t even feel comfortable trying the complimentary breakfast. We attempted to shorten our stay by working with Expedia, but that process was equally frustrating. We were simply told they couldn’t get ahold of the hotel, and after that, there was no follow-up or resolution offered. Do yourself a favor and skip this place. There are much better options available in Venice.

Transportation right outside the hotel, rooms well equipped, however decor horrible and maintenance were poor, breakfast no good to pay the money, experience not as expected to be in Venice.

This is a very old antique style hotel. Very old hard beds. It was just for 1 night and for our family just fine. Had a nice breakfast in the morning and was close to the water taxi.

DO NOT BOOK!! The photos on expedia page are NOT what you will find! Toilet did not work and staff was unable to fix it. The walls, curtains, and bedsheets were dusty and filthy! If you look on GOOGLE REVIEWS, you'll find multiple reviews that include BED BUGS AND PURE FILTH! The walls were unkept, dirty, and had water stains! The "suite" we booked was dark and musty. When my dust allergy were out of control, I went downstairs to check out a day early and let them know that the pictures online look NOTHING like the room we were placed in, they blamed it on Expedia placing pictures of the "superior" room. Hotel did not provide refund the second night after us checking out early due to filth!

Upon arrival at the hotel, everything seemed fine, though we did notice the hairdryer wasn't working. Unfortunately, when we returned late that evening, we found there was no electricity at all—not just the hairdryer, but the lights, power outlets, and air conditioning were all out. At reception, a man told us he was only the night watchman and couldn't help; he explained that this was an ongoing issue for the hotel and that other rooms were also without power. We would like a response from the hotel management: what exactly did we pay £179 for—staying in a like tent? The room was full of dust and the breakfast was poor ,coffe machines not working properly and cold drinks machine leaking. We certainly wouldn't recommend staying at this hotel to anyone; it is definitely not a three-star establishment, but rather a weak two-star one.

That’s worst hotel. AC didn’t work, so we couldn’t sleep whole night. We reported to staff. He asked to change the settings, but already was in same settings, it was horrible, internet also didn’t work.

Gammelt og slitt, uten at det nødvendigvis gjør noe. Fin lokasjon i en rolig del av byen med vaporettostop rett utenfor døren. Frokosten var under pari og hotellet tok bare cash.

Breakfast no good, no elevator, air conditioning don’t work good ..

Room was clean, air conditioner didn’t really work and no elevator which for someone who has back problems made it a bit hard to go up and down. Loved the quiet area and easy access to taxi boat

Aman Ramoussin 5/5 il y a un jour sur Google On ne pouvait pas trouver mieux : Hôtel style vénitien avec un mobilier, certe ancien, mais très stylé. Propreté irréprochable. Calme. Le personnel, accueillant et toujours disponible, parle français. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et varié. Notre chambre, au 1er étage avec vue sur le canal, est spacieuse et bien équipée : la salle de bain refaite à neuf avec douche italienne. Séjour de 4 nuits et le linge de bain changé chaque jour. Cet Hôtel situé devant un arrêt Vaporetto est un havre de paix. Merci beaucoup pour l'accueil et le service. Je recommande sans aucune hésitation. Encore merci.

PROS: Located next to the canal and close to the boat taxi. We thought the breakfast was good. Of the very few places that offer breakfast. AC worked well and the room is clean (though oddly the "do not disturb" sign was ignored and they entered regardless but just cleaned the bathroom not the room). CONS: Bed bugs!! I thought it was mosquitoes, then sure enough, the telltale multiple bites in a row down my arms. I tried to explain to morning receptionist and he just yelled that he didn't know what I was saying to come back later. Room was spacious but very dated. Tried to close the curtains to clock the sun and was shocked to see huge holes all over them which did not help block. Elevator is sooo slow, it took a few minutes to go 1 floor. Overall, most of the staff seems unfriendly and unwelcoming.

Very nice stay & wonderful location close to the train station.
