Very nice staff! Had very pleasant experience!

Sauna area was very nice and gym facilities. Room was spacious with a balcony and view. Breakfast was good and included in stay. There was a buffet but you could also omlet or fried eggs for no extra charge. Barrys restaurant on site is nice and serves good food. Staff was attentive and friendly. Room had a fan provided but no air conditioning, so if you are from a country where AC is the norm, you could be a little warm in your room depending on time of year. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Eiger Mountain Soul resorts staff were amazing. If you were standing anywhere at the hotel, multiple staff would asks if you needed something. Very clean, great dining, and in the main part of town, near the train station. If you stay there, you can walk either direction from the hotel to find nice restaurants and shops. Great gym facility and the private whirlpool eas awesome. Would stay again.

Property is tired and worn. Time for a refurbishment. Awkwardly laid out with multiple floors and buildings. One porter, no carts and parking far from lobby entrance. Not easy to navigate if you have heavy luggage. Give four stars for location.

The hotel's restaurant Barrys is considered a top choice.

BEWAREThe view is the only thing nice here. Dont be fooled by the imaccurate reviews. Lots of flies, lots of noise, feels like a hostel, rooms are dated and uncomfortable, all floors smell like fondue cheese and the elevators are tiny and slow. Dont try and be a ritz carlton or a four seasons, you are no where close. 2 star at most.

スイスを一周しましたが、他のホテルと比べて少し残念でした。 まずチェックイン時間に部屋の用意ができておらず待たされた他、荷物を預けるには自分でロッカールームに行く必要があり、鍵をもらったり返したりとかなり面倒です。また、夕方以外はチェックインカウンターが空いておらず、レストランの従業員にわざわざ声をかける必要があります。 また、部屋のコンセントが一つしかないため不便です。 何よりも、朝食会場に異様な数のハエがいて、フルーツやチーズを食べていたほか、食卓にも無数のハエが止まっていて気持ち悪いです。。スイスはハエが多いですが、ここまでハエに囲まれて食べるホテルはここだけでした。

Fabulous hotel and location in Grindelwald. Our room had a balcony looking out onto the mountains Breakfast was great, lovely touches like free coffee and cake in the afternoons and the mini bar being free of charge and topped up daily

The breakfast was delicious and full of options. Staff was attentive and informed. No issues and would certainly stay here again. Depending on your room location, it can be loud on Wed. nights due to the weekly street festival if you need to open windows. This didn't cause us problems, just something to keep in mind if you have young children.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Give us free bottle drink after check out.The only downside is the room don’t have air conditioner. It is hot during the afternoon.

Only problem is large sound from dancing classs,,,,

I can confirm previous reviews that say Eiger’s customer service was excellent. They truly go above and beyond to fill any last minute requests, offer helpful tips and information, keep your room tidy, and provide all the amenities. Conveniently located in the middle of the town, they shuttle you to/from the airport, provide free breakfast (even to-go for early morning travels), and respond around the clock. They don’t try to nickel or dime you, but genuinely want to make your experience as pleasant as possible. Was really impressed with the staff/service.

The room got really hot -- no air conditioning -- and they had only one small portable fan in the room, but there were three of us. My son's bed was set up on the other side of a wall, and he had some difficulty sleeping the first night because of the temp. When I asked for a second fan the next morning, the young man at the front desk appeared to give me some slack and informed me that the hotel allows only one fan per room. I told him that wasn't a solution for three people. He did finally send maintenance with another fan, but I was forced to have a lengthy discussion with him and to really put my foot down to resolve the situation. Otherwise, a nice hotel, especially Barry's Restaurant for fondue at dinnertime. The breakfast was scrumptious, too.
