Wonderful experience staying in the well renovated old mansion.

This hotel is simply amazing, the property is well kept: beautiful landscape, garden, restaurants and bar. We had breakfast and dinner which were well prepared. The breakfast came with fresh squeezed orange juice, variety of bread, crepes, meat and dinner menu has a wide selection, including kid’s plate, seafood, meat and desserts. They have an extensive dessert menu also. Everyone is simply attentive, kind, and welcoming. Receptionists, servers, and team members were fluent in English. Customer service is superb compared to other hotels of its class. There is a small playground, tennis court and a cage for chickens and rabbits. The receptionists gave us food to feed the rabbits. This hotel is about an hour to Mont st. Michel and short driving distance to the Normandy D-day war memorial and museums. I felt so at peace being in the country side of France in this luxurious updated hotel. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. Being here really take you back in time.

Amazing gem!

We grew to love this place. We had a deluxe room which was one of the largest. At first it felt small but once we organized our belongings, we found it comfortable and charming. The bath is modernized and lighting and power outlets abundant. The grounds are very pretty and full of history. The daily cleanings were thorough and appreciated. My only suggestion would be to enhance the seating. We had a desk chair and small side chair leaving only the bed as a place to relax after a long day of touring sites. We would definitely come back

This property is stunning. My son woke up after the first night and said "Mom, I feel like I'm in a fairytale" We will probably go again.

Thank you for such a lovely stay! Beautiful building and area. Very convenient if you are exploring Normandy. Staff was very kind but short staffed so things took a bit longer but not a big impact. Very clean and taken care of. We stayed in room 200 and it was incredible, such beautiful architecture.

Staff and food were amazing.

Stayed four nights while touring Normandy. Quiet rural area; close to the D Day beaches and Bayeux with restaurants is 20 minutes away. We got the original master’s suite which was huge, quiet, appointed with antiques, frr we may like living in a castle. Rather dark. No elevator - stone steps to get in the front door and thankfully up just one marble staircase, with heavy luggage. No fridge in room. TV not connected to internet. When my husband asked at front desk about getting ice, he got a puzzled look and was told to try the bar. Polished but unfriendly front desk. Not there to help. No one on premises after 11 PM. Only dining options are the expensive buffet breakfast, fancy restaurant got dinner that opens at 7 PM, or the bar which is large and cozy and has charcuterie boards you can order. So, getting food in this remote town is an issue (No eateries in village of Crépon). Plan wisely. It’s a beautifully restored historic old manor house, The service and amenities however do not make it a four star hotel.

Beautiful historic property and friendly efficient staff

We arrived after several days of busy travel to a restful paradise! The architecture immediately started relieving the stress of travel and the beautifully maintained grounds and peaceful atmosphere helped us regain a sense of peace in the busy hustle and bustle. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to get away from stress and just breath freely for a few nights. We felt completely safe the whole stay and were treated with great kindness and deference.

Beautiful property. The restaurant is superb. It’s very easy to take an UBER into Bayeaux where you can walk, eat, shop, and visit the beautiful cathedral.

Quel endroit magnifique! La chambre est à couper le souffle. Et que dire de l'accueil, j'y mettrais plus que 5 étoiles si je le pouvais. Le maître d'hôtel nous a si bien accueilli à notre arrivée! Nous avons également mangé au restaurant de l'hôtel et nous avons adoré tous nos plats. Nous étions de passage pour une seule nuit lors d'un voyage en France pour notre anniversaire de mariage et si nous avions su que cet endroit était aussi extraordinaire, nous serions restés plus longtemps! Ils nous ont également recommandé des endroits à visiter. Nous leurs donnons la note de 100% et allons recommander cet endroit à nos familles et amis québécois ❤️ Véronique et Sébastien
