We had a lovely stay. The toilet did not flush well so was a bit of a pain and the room was very hot but a fan was provided which did help. Bed was clean and comfortable.

Hotel was busy but never seemed crowded. They were extremely accommodating for our group of 10 with bicycles.

A beautiful hotel . Lovely staff nothing too much trouble very clean lovely bedroom with tea/coffee making facilities.. they even put a tv out In the courtyard so guests could watch the FA cop final !! Will definitely be back !

Stayed one night in room 5 which sleeps 4 in two rooms, perfect for a family. Beds were great, quiet rooms, everything you need.

Lovely hotel. Very clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Meals were tasty and hot, with a good choice on the menu for the evening meal and with very reasonable prices. It's only about a 15mins walk from the station.

Fantastic hotel with amazing food and staff. Just a suggestion the hallway and room very hot with the heating on full blast, which on the hottest day of the year was uncomfortable for sleeping, but otherwise amazing as always

The rooms were clean and comfortable staff friendly and helpful some little things needed attention just wear and tear really nothing to awful, the place was very presentable. Tea tray was well stocked biscuits hot chocolate tea and coffee. Location was amazing right on the shore front I would stay here again in a heartbeat

Beautiful location, overlooking the sea off Ravensglass. Professional, friendly team and great bar and restaurant in a pretty village where it has little competition. Interesting walk to local Roman Baths & the miniature railway. Close to Hardknott Roman Fort which was an interesting site to walk around, though probably one for the fitter and more energetic.

Really spacious comfortable room and en- suite. Spotlessly clean and everything you could need for your stay.
