Pros - location is stunning. Upon check in we were given $20 credit for onsite restaurant. Updated decor, rooftop pool and vibe overall are amazing. Boardwalk and beach are literally steps away. Cons - Room was king with obstructed view of ocean. For our stay the entire west side of building has scaffolding so that did was obstruction. TV reception was spotty. Toilet handle had to be adjusted a couple times. Our room was adjoining to another which needs a better privacy sound barrier.

Amazing hotel and location

We loved the dining choices this way we did not have to search for a dining options since we were only there for a few hours to stay overnight. I really enjoyed the decorations as well. Thank you for keeping us safe for 12 hours.

I didnt stay because it was a problem so i need my refund put back on my card asap or i will report it

The working in front was free and easy to park. The lobby has a small convenience store. The front desk was informative and welcoming. The M level is where the restaurant and lounge is located where I enjoyed a spicy casamigos with tejune rim tip. The bartender was amazing his name was Robert, super friendly and great mixologist. The hotel has friendly staff everywhere on site and all are helpful. I went in January so the rooms was a bit cold but all you have to do is turn on the heat and it’s like Miami in the room with how fast and how warm it gets. The shower is stand up and spacious with accessible hand held shower handle and one from the ceiling so you have water from 2 angles. The Starbucks complimentary coffee was great in the room, with mini fridge , and ironing board . No balcony but great oceanview if you get oceanfront room. The bed was incredibly soft and so elegantly dressed. The blankets were so warm and the pillows were perfect. Floors are not carpeted and can be cold during winter. Comes with blowdryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and mouth wash. One of the cleanest hotels I have stayed in, inspected the room and sheets. Pricey but worth for what it’s worth. The views are phenomenal and family friendly. I recommend this resort if you want to get away, eat and drink good. There is a lot of family, and couples that stay here.

My bath towels smelt like cigarette smoke. The view out my window was of the dirty building, chipping paint, and bird poop. For the most part the staff were excellent and super friendly/accommodating.

Sharon at the front desk was extremely helpful when I called to get an early check in. When someone is so friendly and accommodating it makes it so much easier! Thank you Sharon!!!!

Sharon and one of her staff (whose name I don't recall) were absolutely excellent!!! They couldn't have been more helpful. I'm sorry I don't remember the other girl's name but when I couldn't get a cab to come and didn't have UBER, she helped get me a taxi. They both went really out of their way. I don't usually comment on staff, but their care was really really exceptional!!

The view from oceanfront room was fantastic. Front desk staffer Sharon was great —5/5. The Atlantica restaurant was not a good experience. Serving our reservation party of 14, the meals came to table 1 at a time, taking 1.5 hours to complete our dinner orders. The last to arrive was a child’s hotdog. That little girl should NOT have had to wait for the adults to be finished before she got her frank 😟

Great stay! Amazing view from our room!

Overall, I had a wonderful stay around Christmas at the Allegria Hotel. The pricing was favorable given it was off-season and the restaurant is a pleasant atmosphere with very good food. The hotel is essentially located right at the boardwalk in the middle of Long Beach walkable distance to the train station.

The Front Dest staff very friendly n helpful. Always ready to help n answered all my questions positively. Rooms very clean n cleaning ladies very polite n responded to my requests.

I have the flu and had to cancel

I had numerous issues go wrong which I reported to Expedia as well as hotel administration. The director made no attempt to resolve the issues and said different things to me on the phone versus on the Expedia chat with hotel. Ruben is the director. I found worms in my room, the soap dispenser was moldy with brown liquid coming out (soap is clear). Smoke was detected in my room - it’s a non smoking room. Housekeeping vacuumed at 11pm at night. Guests who checked in next to my room (802) top floor - were very noisy at 1am. I told front desk and they sent security several times. They offered to refund one night only but ive had a miserable stay. I was there Christmas week for 9 days and paid $300/night. My Christmas Eve and Christmas Day were soured because of this entire chain of hotel staff and leadership. Only the day time housekeepers and front desk ladies were nice otherwise the housekeeping men, engineers, and security as welll as Ruben the director bullied me - as a solo Asian female traveler. Ruben said he would meet me then he left and lied on Expedia about his working hours.
