This property was NOT clean AT ALL. The bed sheets were not washed and they were stained and the room smelled dirty.

Staff was not helpful, seemed like they were just there for paycheck. This type of attitude should not be in the hospitality business.

I am new to this chain of hotels but am extremely glad that I gave them a try. The rooms are super clean and comfortable, and the breakfast is amazing. Last but not least, the staff was friendly and helpful. Thanks for a great stay!

Parking was easy, check in was quick. The remodeled rooms & bathrooms are very nice. No complaints at all.

Missing closet door, iron board extremely worn out, tub not clean, building old, has unplug coffee maker with a cord to short for any nearest plug. Staff was nice and continental breakfast was good. Their pancakes was crispy which I prefer instead of soft. It is a sufficient place to rest for a couple of night if that is all is needed.

OK, looking hotel, the free EV charging station would’ve been nice if it was working. Unfortunately, all three were in operable.

Great room

We travel to Gadsden several times a year. Usually, we stay at a hotel down the street. However, this time we decided to give Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott a try since we weren't blown away with the experience at the prior hotel on our last trip. To get right to the point, this hotel is our new favorite in this area. We are also going to start booking Fairfield Inn & Suites for our other trips too. Here's why: 1. Great FREE parking 2. Wonderful, friendly and QUICK check in process (thank you Carol) and front desk associates 3. Delightfully CLEAN, resort type fragranced type atmosphere in lobby, common areas, pool area, fitness center and laundry 4. QUICK and accessible elevators (more than 1 makes all the difference 5. Inviting and COMFORTABLE room bed with premium clean, fresh and soft bedding 6. SEPARATE seating and hanging out area that helps you spread out and separate day activities from sleeping 7. WALK-IN SHOWER and bathroom that is updated, roomy and private 8. HELPFUL and friendly housekeeping staff (thank you Beth) who actually speak to you and ask, "Do you need anything? Please let me know if you do." Wow! 9. MULTIPLE, updated, STURDY luggage or grocery carts available in foyer. 10. FREE breakfast that was delicious with hot and cold options. And, no scowling if you take your plate back to your room (I like to eat while I'm getting ready for the day) All the reasons we WILL be back and book with Marriott again and again.
