Had a lovely stay. The unit had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Excellent location in the village centre with many restaurants nearby. An easy walk to the lifeguard patrolled beach.

The property has had a makeover with a beautiful paint exterior and internal. There is a lovely little coffee shop at the entrance which was very convenient for coffee and breakfast. The pool was small but very nice with a little waterfall and sloping entry which was nice to lay on. The hosts Robert and Lyn were super friendly and very organised.

The room was great, staff were great. Within easy walking distances to shops, beach, port area and all types of eating places. While the internet was free it kept cutting out. The pool is not heated and is quite small. The photos on the site make the pool seem larger than what it is.

This hotel is the pefect location to access all the local amenities in and around Port Douglas. The Le Cher Du Monde was clean, comfortable with a dining/lounge area to relax with a balcony to watch the world go by.

Perfect location in the heart of PD, parked the car in their off-street parking and didn'tneed it again until we left. Self contained apartment gave us the ability to self cater. Balcony looking over Macrossen Street gave us plenty of entertainment people-watching when we weren't out and about ourselves.

Great location, close to restaurants, cafes, shops and the beach. We may have missed the information about there not being an elevator, but would have appreciated knowing in advance.

We were emailed about access to our room keys as staff was not available when we arrived. Room was spacious and conveniently located. Only issue is there is no lift and with 2 or 3 flights is a pain dragging luggage up the stairs
