A great Parador with large gardens, a very good sized pool and pool bar/restaurante. The main restaurant was also very good as was the bar and bar menu with more variety than normal Parador bar menus. The bar seating areas were also very good with options inside and outside.

El emplazamiento es increíble, con unas vistas maravillosas. La piscina agradable pero con unas tumbonas que hay que cambiar, no son cómodas y un sitio así necesita actualizarse. El desayuno un poco desastre, hay fruta pero escasa y dura, no se entiende, por lo demás aceptable sin más. El restaurante de la piscina con un camarero agradable pero le faltan ensaladas, no puede ser que no haya ni una, esto hizo que en nuestro caso solo tomáramos alguna bebida al final de la tarde, y solíamos comer en el del jardín donde al menos hay dos ensaladas y el pescado del día bastante bueno, aquí el personal bastante serio y poco generoso en el trato. En cuanto a las habitaciones estupendas, amplias, luminosas y con unas camas baratas cómodas, el personal de limpieza perfecto así como el de recepción, son agradables y cercanos. En definitiva muchas cosas buenas y algún detalle a mejorar.

One of the best paradors - loved it . Food was fantastic and staff fabulous.

Beautiful property, with many different spaces (around the pool, deck overlooking the beach, large gardens, cafeteria, restaurant). The staff was very friendly and professional and the food was delicious.

Lage: Direkt am Meer, Ausblick, landschaftlich sehr schön, aber etwas abseits von Sehenswürdigkeiten. Stil: Landestypisch und ansprechend, guter Standard, ohne übertriebenen Luxus. Personal: Teilweise ohne Englischkenntnisse, vermutlich deshalb etwas unzuvorkommend. Gastronomie: Frühstück einwandfrei, Hauptrestaurant nicht genutzt, kleine Mahlzeiten im Barbereich wenig überzeugend. Fazit: Passabel, aber gefühlt etwas schlechter als andere Paradores.

Sehr gute Lage. Nette Atmosphäre. Sehr gute Küche. Aufmerksamer Service.

There is any information given and there wasn’t a booklet in the room. I didn’t even know there were spa facilities until we were leaving.

The Parador is located in a very unique place. It is in the National Park, with amazing pine trees, dunes, limestone cliffs, and miles of sand beaches. The views from our room were amazing. And to wake up to the sound of waves and scent of pine trees was an incredible experience. The location is very quiet - there is nothing else but the parador and its protected beach for miles. At the same time, the town of Mozagon with many restaurants is in 8 min drive. But we did not need to go to the town for food: the restaurant at the Parador is excellent and very reasonably priced. All the employees were very nice and helpful. The breakfast was good, but it was a good value at a discounted price that we received. Otherwise, at the full price, it may feel not worth it. Overall, this was such a unique experience. We will be back next year!

Excellent property. Wish we had booked for more than one night. Very accommodating after we checked out. We stayed on property to use the facilities.

Viajamos en barco hacia Portugal e hicimos escala aquí. Muy buena experiencia, muy buen servicio, cenamos muy bien, el desayuno completo, la habitación amplia y silenciosa.

El Parafor de Mazagon es la mejor opción para alojarte. Apartado del pueblo cuenta con su propia playa. Tranquilo y acogedor es un lugar donde se detiene el tiempo y se vence el estrés.

Pasamos una noche en el parador y nuestra experiencia fue muy buena. La cama era enorme, el baño estupendo, con bañera. Personal muy amable. Balcón con vistas. El restaurante nos gustó mucho. El único pero que le pondría es el precio del parking, que es en superficie... 10 euros la noche para que se te llene el coche de resina de pino, no sé yo.

Bom hotel, mas o restaurante é muito restrito quanto à alimentação. E o hotel fica longe de tudo.

This Paradore is very very dated in its decor and furniture. The pool area is not looked after with dead grass in many places on the lawn through non watering. The chairs and tables on its outside terrace were of very low quality as were the sun beds around the pool. There were obviously not enough staff on duty with long delays waiting to be served at the bar. The breakfast serving was very chaotic with no hot buffet and long waits for the chef to arrive to cook hot dishes. We won’t visit this hotel again and can’t recommend it to others.

The Parador of Mazagon is a building a few kilometers away from the town centre, with a private access to the public beach. Like most paradores, the decoration may look a bit dated, but the quality of the service, the fantastic food and specially its friendly and helpful staff really go the extra mile. Plus, the swimming pool terrace and its views from the sea are simply fantastic. The beach is great, but beware the long stairs up on the way back.

Its quite a nice joint, peaceful and quiet location. Comfy room with big bathroom. Dining/bar pretty decent.

The view of the ocean from our room was lovely. The staff were helpful and pleasant.

Beautiful property; about 170 step staircase down to the beach; not walkable to anything - had to have a car to go anywhere so we took day trips to other beaches
