Everything was great , except the bathroom. It was very narrow with very low areas. Not suitable for a 6’1” person. Not even for a5’6” person.

Tucked away on a quiet street very close to the Spanish Steps. Clean and comfortable. Staff were very helpful. The breakfast was very nice.

The Hotel Manfredi Staff immediately dispatched a Taxi to bring them to the Cruise Port & literally Saved our Vacation!

We have been staying here for 20 years. Pricey but location, breakfast and family run management is great. Plus compared to other Spanish Steps hotels this one is totally worth it. Via Margutta is Rome’s hidden gem.

An old italian hotel, very good, clase to everything. The bathroom was big and with a lot of light, good breakfast.

I genuinely liked this unusual hotel. There are two hotels in the building which can be confusing but we got it together after a few minutes. The elevator is definitely vintage and I would NOT recommend more than 2 people per ride. The staff were lovely. I adored our room! The bathroom was quite large and the shower was excellent! I loved this hotel and the location was perfect. I walked about 10 minutes and I was in front of the Spanish Steps. I will definitely stay here again!

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Close to the spanish steps and one stop away to the Trevi Fountain. Metro is five minutes walking. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby however the hotel is tucked away from all the noise. Our rooms were quiet and beds were comfortable we stayed in a double room. It has a lift which was important for us as we had big suitcases.

The room was a perfect set up for my husband and I and our teen grandson. He had a partial wall between him and us for a bit of privacy. This is the main reason we chose this hotel. It’s hard to find a room like that in Rome. The staff was very friendly and helpful and recommended some great restaurants off the tourist path. The location is very good, near all the designer stores and the Spanish Steps yet it was quite peaceful around us while in the hotel. The breakfast is decent and there are lots of options available but we did want something else after a few days. The biggest issues we had were the beds and pillows. If you don’t like VERY firm mattresses and foam pillows you will also have some rough nights sleeping. We did get an extra comforter the second night to place on the bed to add some cushion but it was still not comfortable enough for us. Our grandson slept on a pull down twin bed and he felt the same way. For that reason alone we would not go back but it’s a personal preference for our family. Also, because the hotel is off the Main Street we could not get a cab to take us to the train station and we missed our train. Even the hotel staff could not help us. Be prepared for extra time waiting. All in all, the hotel is nice but take the mattress warning seriously!!

Hotel is in a great walking location to restaurants, historic sites, shops. The staff were all very friendly and the breakfast was delicious. The room was very clean and beautiful. I would definitely stay there again.

This place was fantastic! We were visiting with our two young adult sons for a couple of days to adventure in Rome. The four of us stayed on their larger suite which is kinda hard to find in Rome, most hotels are max 2 people per room. The decor was fantastic, the staff was very flexible and helped us to arrive at 2 am. It has an elevator which was really nice, no carrying heavy bags up flights of stairs. The location is central to everything so if you want to just wander around Rome this place is it. The night manager Reno took great care of us with perfect English. They seemed to visit our room many many times a day, whenever we went out to refresh towels and make the room perfect for us. They are going above and beyond. The breakfast is fantastic, had local Roman meats as well as eggs, baked goods fresh every day, and any fancy coffee you could ask for made to order just for you. I would absolutely stay here every time I visit Rome.

Great location, good size rooms BUT the beds are hard, pillows are flat and showers are small. Staff is nice and attentive. The bed, pillows and shower are a personal preference.

We stayed twice at Hotel Manfredi Suite in Rome during our visit to Rome — two nights upon arrival and one final night before flying home. The hotel gave us a wonderful experience from start to finish. Our room was spotless, comfortable and full of authentic Italian character, with elegant interior details that made the stay feel special and personal. What stood out the most was the staff. They were not only professional with check-in and hotel services, but also genuinely helpful with practical advice and assistance beyond what you normally expect. As somewhat tired Interrail travelers, we truly appreciated the warmth and care we received. On our final stay, we were unexpectedly upgraded to an amazing suite. For us, it felt almost royal — a perfect ending to our trip and honestly like medicine after many travel days. The location is excellent: peaceful and charming Via Margutta, surrounded by art, small shops and craftsmanship, while still being very close to the Spanish Steps, Metro connections and walking distance to many of Rome’s main attractions. We left Rome with wonderful memories, and this hotel became an important part of that experience.

Location of Hotel Manfredi is ideal. Close to a lot of attractions and restaurants and shops. Hotel staff could not of been nicer. Rooms and hotel were very clean. would strongly recommend.

We booked last minute because the property we initially booked was horrible. They were so kind to accommodate us! Delilah was super helpful checking us in and giving us tips on how to get around due to the marathon! Thank you Hotel Manfredi, you saved our trip to Rome and made it wonderful!
