Room was clean, linens were clean, Towels from the day before lying in hallways, Dirty back entrance. Poorly maintained carpets and stairwells.

Staff were kind and friendly.　The room was nice and clean, but we were near the door to the parking lot, so we heard the door banging open and closed periodically.

Really enjoyed our stay. I thought the happy hour drink in the house was a nice touch. The breakfast was very nice. Satff were very friendly and helpful!

Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Needed help carrying our lugagge up and downstairs and they were right there to assist. Got us whatever we needed and asked for.

No elevators but good hotel.

Location was downtown and convenient to shopping, dining, lots of pubs, the waterfront and parks for walking our dog (hotel is pet friendly, CA$25). The staff were wonderful. The rooms were modern and very clean but the stairwell and hallways carpeting was in serious need of attention (numerous stains and worn through and torn areas). But it is a budget hotel and I think well worth it. Breakfast was very good with a wide array of cereals, muffins, toast and bagels, yogurts with fresh fruit, egg casserole, hard boiled eggs, juices, coffee/teas and basket of fresh fruit.

Location location location! Downtown Charlotte is just steps away. Driving out of the City to other parts of the Island is quick & easy. Staff at The Hotel on Pownal are great - friendly, helpful & professional. Room was very comfortable & spacious. Hope to return.

Hotel was great. Nice central location, good size room (we had a king suite). Very comfortable, clean and quiet. Nice to have hot breakfast and the option of a free drink in the evening.

My wife and I came to Charlottetown for a comedy show at the Sobeys Theatre. The hotel facikities were clean. The staff very friendly. Free on site parking. Easy 5 min walk to Confederation Center. Highly recommend.

This property was conveniently located with very clean comfortable pet friendly rooms. The staff were great and even offered my dog a welcome gift. The only issue I had was the key to room not working quite right, in which the staff were always available to assist me wth. All in all a pleasant stay at this property.

Parking was safe.
