Front desk girl was very nice , room was clean , bed comfy. Parking was across the street . Great location less than a 5 min walk to Rock The Park !! Overall it was a good stay

It was close to everything I needed for my stay. The place was very clean, staff was helpful.

Odd layout with the bathroom and shower

The room was very stylish and well appointed. I rated it 4 stars because there was what I can only describe as a urine smell in my room. It was pretty strong. The candy and the cold drinks in the lobby was a nice touch. Be aware that parking is not included and not onsite and that the area outside of the hotel is not the safest place to be at night.

This place should work on parking, parking is issue rather then that this place is amazing.

Always a great stay.

Room was nice. Very clean but the noisiest room I've ever been in. The fan was so loud. I had to put a pillow over my head to try to drown out some of the noise to sleep. Other than that, the room was fine, although I didn't really appreciate the coded doors

I really enjoyed how unique and spacious the room was. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

I have mixed reviews, however, overall our stay was good. The hotel is a cute boutique style which I love. The room is spacious and the shower is excellent. It was definitely one of the hottest and humid weeks of summer stressing the air con and it was pretty warm in our room. The staff rectified by bringing us a fan which helped a lot and we really appreciated. I prefer a flat fluffy pillow but these ones were a little large and firm and not as comfy for me. Linens were fine as well as the mattress. I like that there is complimentary water and juices and tea/coffee along with a candy bar. Fridge and coffee maker in the room are also convenient. The location is conveniently downtown. Beware if you have a car. Parking is available but costs extra and no in/out privileges. Can add up if you’re aren’t lucky enough to score free parking just outside the hotel in front of the terrific farmers market.

I very much enjoyed my stay at Hotel Metro. The lobby had some cute touches like a little candy bar, coffee, and things you might forget like ear plugs and tooth brushes. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. While parking isn’t cheap, that seems to be the case for any hotel around this area, and there is a discount. The lot is huge and a very short walk from the hotel. The hotel in general was a very convenient walk to London Music Hall and the market square directly to the south is lovely. The room was nicely renovated and had great water pressure, and the bed was comfy. The only negative of my trip was despite the room overall feeling clean, the floor was in need of a good wash. It wasn’t noticeable until I saw the dirt accumulating on my socks and then wiped a couple sections of the floor with toilet paper to check, and it came up filthy. The bathroom area seemed quite clean so this was likely an issue with the hardwood section (this room has an open concept bathroom). Overall I would definitely stay again!

Location was convenient. Room was exactly what I wanted and needed. The person at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Parking, though, was a little confusing.

Comfy

This hotel has no active employees overnight after 11 pm. I arrived after 11 pm and the self check-in was really smooth and easy...but when my A/C unit stopped working in the middle of the night, there was nobody I could call to help. My room was 31 degrees the entire night and I couldn't sleep for a minute in this sweltering and unescapable heat. I was sweating through my eyes it felt like, and nobody that could help me. After a sleepless night, the reception didn't seem to have a lot of sympathy when I checked out. I was dripping in sweat and on my way to meet clients. The hotel gave me a 40% discount on the room as compensation, but that's not nearly enough. I would have PAID DOUBLE for a room with A/C. It was one of the hottest nights of the year and 40% off quite simply felt offensive for one of the worst and most uncomfortable nights I have ever spent in a hotel. IT WAS ONE OF THE MOST HUMID DAYS OF THE YEAR AND MY ROOM WAS 31 DEGREES CELCIUS. A full refund would have been the only way that I felt like they made me whole, which would have avoided this 1 star review.

The hotel is small but clean and cozy. The staff are really great!! I would stay again in the future.

Check-in process very easy Room was clean with lots of clean towels Shower and tub were very clean (buttons on the tubs didn’t work unfortunately) Air conditioning works amazing

The room is clean the staff was really nice Etc however you could hear everything from every room around you through the vents there was a ticking clicking horrible but sounded hard to sleep. Take note when downtown it is loud as well.
