We booked a lake view room only to be told that it wasn’t available, BUT they upgraded us to a non-lake view larger room, Staff was helpful and kind. This could be a very nice hotel, but it needs a little bit of maintenance. Still, it was a great price for being right near the lake and we enjoyed our stay!

If you are looking for a hotel for the location only then this is the hotel. It was right on the lake front with bike, boat and pedalo rental within 50 meters. Unfortunately this is where the positives for this hotel stop. The hotel is very run down and in some areas, and in the rooms furnishings are dirty. We were directed to the building across from the main hotel and had to get in using a code. This didn't work most of the time and other times the gate was just left open . The front door to this building was broken leaving it insecure and we had a room on the second floor. The room, I would say is one of the worst I have stayed in. The floor was laminated boards which has all come up leaving gaps and holes. There was no headboard and the chair was very dirty. There were also no ceiling lights in the room. The only lighting were small laps and these were simply not enough. The room had a large window with a partial lake view however we couldn't have this open as there were alot of ants making there way into the room. The positives. Staff seemed nice, secure parking and location . This is where it ends

In the old block our assigned room had fairly flat worn carpet. That would have been fine if it was clean, but the carpets were dirty. The skirting boards were full of dust. There was hair on the bedsheets, and the bathroom was full of hair and pubic hair. As if the cleaning staff has used a very hairy brush/mop and just moved it from one room to another. Reception was very apologetic and changed us to another room which although the carpets were dirty, it was hairless and went with it. We asked for compensation and I was supposed to receive the cost of 1 night. This is apparently submitted to the finance department and claimed against the cleaning company. It has been 8 weeks and I still haven't received it. And my requests for updates have been ignored. The staff know how incompetent the cleaning company is, so it is not a surprise when this happens. Also each room had something missing: e.g. towel, soap, toilet paper, so you'll be heading to reception a lot. I'm sure this post will be deleted to maintain a good score.

We loved being able to have a view of the Lake from our room. The check-in staff was so friendly and enthusiastic, great energy! We found the room a little small overall for something that was higher priced than normal, and it was tricky to move along the side of the bed on the window side, and although it was great that the bathroom was en-suite, it was so tiny and a bit too near the bed. The breakfast was fine, with a good range of items to choose from a self-serve counter, helped the day off to a good start.

Excellente situation en bordure du lac,à 10 minutes en vélo d'Annecy le Vieux, chambres un peu minimalistes en surface...

Chambre propre, mais le sol est à refaire. Les lattes du parquet se sont ouvertes. Un peu dangereux si on marche nu pieds. Personnel agréable. Hôtel calme. Bon petit déjeuner mais il manquait de l'eau.

Sehr nettes Personal, aber mäßiges Frühstück ( z.B. keine Milch fürs Müsli, begrenzte Auswahl insgesamt). Auf dem hauseigenen Parkplatz standen teilweise nicht genügend Parkplätze zur Verfügung.

Hotell med fantastiskt bra läge i Annecy, men lite halvtråkigt rum med värdelöst badrum. Frukosten var inte klar när de skulle öppna trots att vi dubbelkollat tiden och meddelat att vi hade bråttom iväg till flygplatsen och det var lång kö till den enda kaffeautomaten.

Très bon accueil. Le petit déjeuner était très copieux et varié. Hôtel très bien situé face au lac et à 20 mn à pied de la vieille ville.

Ma chambre n était pas très prore, gel douche vide , douche bouche… dalle plafond tachée par dégât des eaux

Isabela and the rest of the staff were all great. They recommended the affiliated restaurant (Irma) located right in front of them - and that was really good as well (big thanks to Emma). The place is in what I consider a really great location at one end of Lake Annecy with a fantastic view across the length of the lake. A bicycle rental shop 2 minutes away is a GREAT way to get around the lake to Old Annecy with clear bicycle paths along huge stretches of the lake. My son a d I really loved our time here, and we lucked out with nice weather, only raining a bit when we checked out to move on to Switzerland. Couldn't really have asked for much more.
