Despite a great location and friendly staff I wouldn’t recommend nor stay in the hotel again. Luckily it was only 1 night, would have moved if I was suppose to stay there any longer. The room was tiny, view on the wall, scary, claustrophobic lift, dodgy and smelly entrance to the building. No soundproofing so I could even here the people next door snoring. Not a good night sleep and deffo not worth the price paid.

The Hostal room was clean and the bed comfortable. Nice towels. Nice coffee in reception available before breakfast. Location -spectacular.

Tenía vista parcial al teatro Callao y tenía un bacon con la vista muy bonita, el baño muy limpio y la regadera con excelente presión del agua. El chico que me recibió súper amable y servicial. El elevador tenía buen tamaño para ser un edificio antiguo, la ubicación fue lo mejor, justo afuera el metro callao y caminando está el metro Gran via, llegué en metro del aeropuerto y prácticamente no camine más de 1 pequeña esquina. Maravilloso todo, incluso el pequeño desayuno en la terraza con una vista hermosa. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.

Llegamos pronto hicimos el check in y nos dijeron que teníamos que volver a las 15. Llegamos hicimos fila y nuestra habitación aún no estaba hecha, nos dijeron 15 minutos y al final nos la entregaron a las 15:35. La ducha bastante pequeña y solo nos pusieron 1/2 (medio) rollo de papel higiénico para 3 personas adultas, pero por lo demás todo bien. La ubicación muy céntrica y el desayuno muy bien.Las personas de recepción muy amables y buen servicio de consignas de maletas.

Habitación sucia, mal olor. Personal sin más. Nada cómodo. Pagamos habitación con vistas y nos dieron una sin ventanas. Lo único bueno la ubicación y la terraza. Buen desayuno.

I slept really well, no noise, and good views at Sky 44 and even from my window. The only thing it is on the 7th floor and elevator had issues in addition of me not liking the small elevator I used the stairs in total 9 floors from the base. They close the door at midnight, but they say you can use your car to open the door. The only thing I did not like was there is no mini fridge.Make sure you get what you selected.

The room was very clean, had great size for 3 people, good beds, great big bathroom and 2 little balconies with amazing views. And all that in the heart of the city. We walked everywhere to museums, parks, shopping, restaurants, city's main landmarks. Highly recommend it!

La localizacion es muy buena, a pasos de todo. El aire acondicionado no se podia controlar desde el cuarto, hacia calor. Se escuchaban ruidos de otros huespedes. Subi varias veces los 7 pisos por las escaleras pues el ascensor tardaba en llegar y era pequeno. Cama comoda y cuarto pequeno pero para dormir ok.

El check in fue muy desordenado. Aparte de eso, no podíamos controlar la temperatura del aire acondicionado desde nuestra habitación y tuve que salir tres veces a pedirle al de recepción que si lo podía prender o bajarle por qué no estaba funcionando( en pleno verano), al final nunca enfrió.

The staff was amazing, the location was unmatched, and the breakfast on the rooftop was great. That said, we had constant issues with the AC. The first night it didn’t work at all, and the second night it only barely worked. Additionally, the elevator was a constant problem. One four-person capacity elevator serves the hotels on the fifth, seventh, eighth, and ninth floors. We frequently ended up just having to climb eight flights of stairs. Besides the elevator and the AC, we had no issues.

Little bit difficult to find. Sketchy entrance. Small lift or 7 floors of stairs. Friendly staff.

It’s no 5 star hotel but it did the job - right in the middle of town. Amazing views at the roof top. Walking distance to everything. So many restaurants and souvenir stores. Elevator only holds 3 people due to weight restriction so plan ahead. Hotel is on the 7th floor. No complaints at all. Only stayed in the room to sleep And shower.

Me hospedé en el Hostal Josefina y mi experiencia fue mixta. Ubicación: 5/5 La localización es simplemente perfecta, en plena Gran Vía, con acceso inmediato a estaciones de metro como Callao, Santo Domingo y Gran Vía. Además, hay una gran variedad de restaurantes, tiendas y comercios a pocos pasos, lo que facilita cualquier necesidad durante la estadía. Servicio: 5/5 El personal fue muy amable y atento en todo momento, lo cual hizo la estancia más agradable. Siempre estuvieron dispuestos a ayudar con cualquier consulta o necesidad. Comodidad: 1/5 Aquí es donde el hostal tiene su mayor debilidad. La habitación era demasiado pequeña, y lo mismo el baño y la ducha, lo que hacía que el espacio se sintiera incómodo. Para estancias cortas y solo para dormir puede estar bien, pero si buscas más comodidad, este aspecto puede ser un problema. En resumen, si la prioridad es la ubicación y un buen servicio, el Hostal Josefina es una opción excelente. Sin embargo, si el espacio y la comodidad son importantes para ti, quizás sea mejor considerar otras alternativas.
