Nice hotel in a historic castle, with an excellent restaurant.

Breakfast was a disappointment

Room was lovely and clean. Area is very quiet. Setting is picturesque on an evening.

Amazing absolutely blown away with Lumley Castle. The best place we have stayed on all our girly away dates. Everything from arrival to departure was far better than we ever imagined. A true Gem

If you like a bit of old fashioned charm, fantastic food and courteous service. You cannot beat Lumley Castle. We booked it on the off chance and were pleasantly surprised.

The hotel was beautiful. I was here on a business stop over and would definitely stay again. The staff were very helpful and polite. The hotel is very unique. I would definitely come back. It’s so different to other hotels is definitely worth it.

Service was not good bedroom not clean and meal was cold

I love the old feeling of the place . The staff were great, especially Claire in accounts who sorted out my problem with my payment.

Stayed in the courtyard rooms which where lovely and quiet Breakfast was excellent lovely stay

Good room, but the ironing board was a table top tiny thing, I just about got my shirt ironed with it.

Lovely castle set back in time, in beautiful surroundings. quiet and safe place to stay. our room was massive and had so much history to it. the food and service in the pub/ lounge was fantastic. very helpful and friendly staff. thank you for a lovely stay.

The old castle is very interesting to explore and stay in

Beautiful Castle in a stunning setting. Golf course there too if you are a golfer. Rooms I’d say are looking a bit tired but as it’s a castle I suppose it’s difficult to upgrade the furniture as then it would be too trendy I suppose. Friendly staff. Lovely walks by the river.
