Newly renovated very nice room in the coach house. Staff were outstanding throughout, very helpful friendly and polite. Evening meal and breakfast were excellent, again with great staff members. Only reason it doesn't get 5* is the sauna was out of action in the spa and the pool is quite small

Our room was large and clean. The breakfast was delicious. We would have preferred a walk in shower as my husband has mobility issues but that was my fault for not asking!

The room was clean and comfortable though pillows need upgrade.and there’s bad smells in our bathroom that won’t go away.for the rest of our stay. But would still recommend this place as the Staff are very helpful and friendly. Happy to stay again . Thank you

Unfortunately stayed on a weekend with a wedding, where we were on the first floor above the disco. There's non existent sound proofing and sticky doors that slams as you try to close them. Beware there's also no air con or fans. On the plus side, we had a nicely renovated room and the staff were friendly. We would have loved to have used the spa facilities but the swimming pool closed at 8pm and the spa was closed at that bank holiday weekend.

Great Hotel, Great Staff...

The hotel had a very large wedding going on. If I had been told I would not have booked it. The breakfast was very poor and served cold. With little choice.

Dinner was nice but expensive. Ribeye was oversalted.

Good Parking ( Top car park off the hill to the left is much easier with luggage ) Friendly Staff , Clean / Warm and comfortable room. Leisure facilities clean and all in service - one issue was space in the pool etc , it seems locals use the site and have a right of passage to the pool / Jacuzzi as we were twice subtly forced to leave the pool as people took their position and left us no choice. Suggest an hour either side of the normal operating hours when the hotel rooms are busy just for guests to use the facilities - not a complaint , just a suggestion. Otherwise a fantastic stay - we love the Gower as we have family in Penclawdd and visit regularly. Room service spot on too - lovely fresh room to return too each evening - Thanks

Although the main area was a little dated the rooms were modern, clean and had all necessary amenities. The staff were fabiulous so welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was exceptional. Special shoutout to Liz who looked after us during breakfast (fabulous service and a genuinely nice person) and th gentleman who was th night porter. Both outstanding members of staff who delivered excellent service

Staff were very helpful. Plenty of parking space. Bed really comfortable. And the food in the restaurant was lovely.

Rubbish was found all over the floor (plastic nails, bottle of water under the dressing table, half eaten cookie), bed extremely uncomfortable, food in the restaurant salty(when sent back the tone was like I was asking for more food, rather than trying to rectify error politely), no idea how this place is 4star, would never go back. Spa just re-opened after refurb, but works still going on, debri everywhere, smell of silicone in the changing room revolting. Staff on reception and spa lovely.
