Unfortunately the room didn’t look like in the pictures, everything is very old (the furniture, the wall it’s very old paint and the balcony door had a problem I couldn’t close.) You never find anyone in the reception area, if you need anything you need to go to the bar and ask where is the receptionist. The breakfast very poor, everyday the same thing.

Ein sehr schönes und tolles Hotel. Ich habe Halbpension gebucht. Das Essen ist sehr lecker, das Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück und das Abendessen ist zwar sehr lecker, aber nicht besonders abwechslungsreich (Frühstück weniger als das Abendessen). Die Lage ist too, da das Hotel sehr zentral ist und sich trotzdem gleichzeitig ruhig in einer Seitenstraße befindet. Bars, Clubs, Markets, etc. sowie der Strand sind fußläufig in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Die Zimmer sind sauber und in Ordnung. Ich empfehle das Hotel auf jeden Fall weiter. Aber das Hotel ist besser für diejenigen geeignet, die ihren Urlaub nicht im Hotel verbringen möchten, sondern den Urlaubsort erkunden möchten und das Hotel nur für das Schlafen/Erholen, Frühstücken und Abendessen nutzen möchten.

It was very nice ophold , hospitality was very good, clean, but the main problem was the buffer was not good, if you change it sometimes with grille chicken, pork, Meat and others, drikkes was the best. The Air condition should me monitered before other geasts are to come in. Because ours was not working så we opened dør and we Got mosquito bites. For the kids in pool i Think they should be someplay toys for water

Really good location for the bars & restaurants and short walk to the beach. The staff are really friendly and go out of their way to help if asked. The pool area is really nice, quiet and relaxing. The breakfast is not brilliant but there is a taverna next door which does a full English for €4 so not a disaster. Would definitely come here again.

Very mediocre hotel which needs updating,the cooking smells wafted into our room down a corridor wi -fi was very poor room very basic but clean. They seemed to put more effort into the Bar area which is in the front of the hotel with happy hour etc,which would not interest me I think the whole area in Malia is more suited to under 25s and this hotel would be fine for them.

Nel complesso non posso diredi essermi trovato male le camere erano abbastanza confortevoli un pó piccoline il bagno molto minimal la cucina dell'albergo discreta con buono piatti di carne alla griglia la colazione per noi italiani era veramente difficile

Hotel très bien situé, à 100 mètres de la plage et en bas de la rue la plus festive de la ville. Chambres très bien (évitez si vous le pouvez celles en rez de jardin si vous avez peur des petits insectes), propres, bien agencées et lumineuses.

Bodde på hotellet två dygn under hösten. Huvudbyggnaden var nerstängd - slutet på säsongen - och hotellet liksom närområdet gav en ödslig känsla. Förstår att hotellet under säsongen är bra för barnfamiljer; pool, minigolf, biljard, pingisbord, mm. Närområdet fullt av barer och fast food-ställen, men tio minuter bort ligger gamla stan, med supertrevliga restauranger. Avslutningsvis måste personalen i restaurangen lyftas fram: Positiva, trevliga och alltid tillmötesgående!

3 of us shared a studio apartment which was basic but had everything we needed. The room itself was spacious and had a lovely little balcony. The apartment was very clean, there was a well equipped kitchenette and air con. Located within stumbling distance from the main strip but far enough away not to hear any noise. The main plus for me was the hospitality of the staff, they were so friendly and happy to accommodate our every need. The hotel not only had a lovely big pool but they served excellent cocktails too. I would highly recommend this hotel for anybody staying in Malia

nous n avons passé qu une nuit au philoxenia et heureusement!!!! a l'arrivee accueil sympa certes mais on nous annonce que la clim est en option 7€ par nuit. nous ne lavons pas pris et avions donc decidé de laisser les fenetres ouvertes.. mauvaise idee vu le vacarme quil y a la nuit. entre la musique du bar, (ou plutot des bars),le bruit des scooters et quad ... bref la cata. ok l'hotel est proche de la plage mais cest loin detre la plus belle plage de crete , nous avons meme prefere aller ailleurs. quant a la chambre, hygiene douteuse notamment la salle de bain et la kitchenette. bref nous etions contents de quitter cette ville (que nous avons surnommé kékéland) et cet hotel qui resteront notre plus mauvais souvenir de la crete.

Horrible hotel!! Dirty rooms, very noisy neighbourhood and not much helpful staff.
