Very family friendly and safe. Breakfast option is good and the staff are very polite and helpful. I prefer to have more hooks to hang out towels and clothes. And a small fridge will be very handy

Positioned well for wookey hole. Staff friendly on arrival, room clean too. Only 6 hangers supplied for a family room. First morning we asked the room to not be cleaned as we were going to be in for a while, the second morning towels were replaced only and cups changed, beds weren't made, rubbish wasn't emptied. Breakfast choice was okay. We ordered a full English on the first morning and the fried eggs were swimming in grease on the plate. Not appealing at all. There was no key supplied for our balcony doors and being a family room meant our children could open the doors as and when they felt which I wasn't too pleased about and they were left unlocked. The staff were friendly. The bed was very firm and uncomfortable. The hot water is extremely hot, there was no option for warm water so be careful with children using the taps.

Room was very good , the breakfast service was somewhat lacking . No spoons , no cups, no milk , dregs of the juice no continental breakfast offering to speak of , hour before breakfast ends .

Easy check in, friendly helpful staff, comfy beds, large clean tidy rooms and a excellent breakfast in the morning.

We stayed in the tower room, it was fab, but upstairs floor was very creaky and toilet seat would not stay up and had parts missing, also shower floor had seen better days, but a wonderful time had anyway.

Hotel was ok near good venues. Staff friendly and attentive. Breakfast was cold and mushrooms needed more cooking Room bed was comfy

A very peaceful environment to stay, wonderful accommodation and great food. Amazing attraction set up on the doorstep for all to enjoy and spend a day.

Architectural design very pleasing. Meals good value. Duvet too hot for current weather.

The staff were very friendly at this property and the facilities were absolutely amazing. Location was paramount. Only thing to improve on is the food as during the 3 nights we stayed, the food was either overcooked and burnt, or undercooked. I believe the chef needs to be trained on how to cook an egg.

Absolutely amazing location, right next to Wookey Hole. The Hotel itself was located in a beautiful setting of the mendip hills. Couldnt fault the hotel, lovely and clean. Also restaurant had great food. Would stay again!

We stayed in the tower suite, it was a lovely room. Our only concern was that there was no fan in the bedroom area and it got very warm at night.

Had a fantastic time beautiful views staff friendly hotel very clean and spacious rooms would definitely recommend

Ten out of ten for everything, staff excellent, parking excellent, water pressure excellent, t.v. Choice excellent….WiFi - worse than dreadful, could not book onward travel, accommodation etc.

A great stop for our trip to North Cornwall everyone was so kind, helpful, food quality and portion’s excellent. Hotel is looking a little tired although painting of egg

Cant fault the staff and the hotel. Room was quiet and clean. Only criticism i have is of the menu - very little choice. The Wookey Hole Inn, more or less over the road about a minute's walk away, had a much better menu, and the food was good.

Amazing place, friendly staff. Beautiful setting and somewhere to sit outside. Local pubs and40 minutes walk to Wells which is stunning! Evening menu slightly limited but able to create a nice meal. Highly recommend staying here and great value for money

Our stay was pleasant. The room was large, and everything was in place. It was quiet at night, which is what we wanted. The place is located in nice country surroundings.

Hotel in beautiful valley. Restaurant has big windows for the views. Food and service excellent. We had dinner and breakfast. Very helpful friendly staff on reception and restaurant. Food is pub style. Good value. Comfy bed. Bathroom with bat and shower. Need shower cap uf not wanting to wash hair. Hotel is opposite the mill which houses theatre and is the entrance for Wookey Hole Caves park . We were lucky as there was a talent show in the evening. Wookey Hole Caves were great fun, do go to circus shows in the theatre. Wookey Hole attraction consists of: * Caves tour - we did normal walking, but can book for climbing pot-holing adventure * animatronic dinosaur garden * circus shows * 4D cinema * hall of mirrors * arcades * cave diving exhibition * local archaeology * paper making demonstrations Can go around as many times as you wish Recommend the circus show
