The hotel is attractive and well positioned.

The location is beautiful and so is the hotel. The only thing that let it down was a bit of clumsyness: Cleaning of the room, dirty plates left in the room, no new toilet roll added, the room was 1st floor with stairs, we travelled with a young child and were unaware there was no lift before arrival. I would just expect better from a 5*

Prachtige omgeving en heerlijk bed. Personeel werkt had en doet zijn/haar best. Het is alleen gewoon géén 5* hotel. Restaurant zeer teleurstellend (steak rauw, tafels worden niet goed schoongemaakt. service door onervaren krachten). Kamer was prima, maar douche te krap, honden gadgets vergeten (na telefoontje wel snel hersteld) en sauna bleek alleen na 10 am- tot 5pm toegankelijk én tegen extra meerprijs/ zeer klant onvriendelijk. Zoveel potentie en zo weinig waargemaakt. Gemiste kans helaas

What an amazing experience to get to stay in this manor house/mini-castle! Everything was perfect and we couldn’t have had a more magical time. Great deal, too!

We’ve just arrived home from a one night stay and we’re very impressed with this hotel. This is a quintessential British old fashioned luxury hotel. The rooms are all individual and ours was very large with a wonderful view of Cheltenham racecourse. The oak panelled dining room, gave a feeling of grandeur without being stuffy and the food and serving staff were excellent both at dinner and breakfast. The hotel grounds are magnificent and we made use of the heated outdoor pool and spa, which was clean and not too busy. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wish now we had booked for longer.

Lovely two night stay, ate in the first night which was lovely. All the staff were great, we found them all very helpful and they are an absolute asset to the Hotel (especially in this day and age when hospitality staff are hard to find) I used the spa and had an amazing back massage. Would highly recommend and will be booking again.

Lovely stay. The room and hotel facilities are great, the food was fantastic, the cocktails were not great, quite pricey but had a lovely time.
