The hotel is right across from the port and is near a walking strèet in old town. The hotel is art deco and could use some sprucing up but was a good deal. I really appreciated the private outdoor area with the room. Breakfast was solid too and the service was great. Recommend.

Equipe gentil, muito gentil, quarto poderia ter um cuidado a mais, tinhas mosquitos pelo quarto. Café da manhã, merece uma atenção, muito demorado o serviço. Falta equipe.

Gostamos bastante do hotel. A localização é boa, fica em frente ao mercado del Puerto, ao lado você caminha por uma rua repleta de bares e em 5 minutos você está na rampla - beira mar com calçadão enorme e perfeito para o pôr do sol. Fica próximo dos cafés brasileiro e farmácia, é a poucos minutos do centro. Café da manhã perfeito e limpeza também

O recepcionista Diego foi extremamente cordial e atencioso conosco, porém estava bastante quente e o ar condicionado não estava funcionando. Café da manhã muito bom. O hotel carece de vários pontos de manutenção.

Minha acomodação era boa com bom banheiro. Cama de mola pode ser problemas para alguns, mas eu descansei bem. Equipe diurna excelente o senhor que ajuda na garagem e o recepcionista da tarde excelentes. Foi uma agradável estadia. O hotel estava em reforma e o rooftop bar não estava funcionando mas seu para tirar lindas fotos lá de cima. O serviço de café da manhã é limitado , a la carte, e os extras tem um preço em dólar bem salgado.

Not as advertised. Poorly kept. Pictures on line look great but not as advertised. Room - headboard was shredded - brutal mattress and pillows. Pool - filthy green slime, no evidence of filtration system working. Pool area. - looks like it had not been attended to for many month. Upstairs lounge area - full of garbage and old bottles… Don’t book here.

It was a good location for the old town. During the day there are several restaurants open, but after 6 pm the choices nearby are limited. Our first room had a strong cigarette smell, but the staff moved us with no issue the next morning to a clean room.

The nicest lodgings so far on this trip to South America. The best staff, hotel condition and style, room, bath, etc.

Zimmer waren schön, Lage in der Altstadt auch gut. Frühstück war sehr gut. Leider war im Pool kein Wasser - bei 28 Grad und Sonne wäre eine Abkühlung nett gewesen - zumal wir das Hotel gewählt hatten, weil es einen Pool hat.

I enjoy staying in boutique hotels and am not a fan of fancy ones, as I consider them a waste of money when most of the time is spent outside. However, I am certain there are much better options for staying in Montevideo. My room was dirty, there were no glasses, the AC barely worked, and on top of that, my room (#6) faced a bar with loud music playing all night. In the morning, the smell of breakfast permeated every corner of the hotel

The hotel is within walking distance of many bars and restaurants in the old city and the old market hall with its many shops and restaurants is just across the street. The room and bed were comfortable and the shower was excellent. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly. I would recommend this hotel for a solo traveler or a couple especially for convenient access to the port and Buquebus (to Buenos Aires).

The hotel is overrated. There were mosquitoes and spiders in the room, the room was not clean. U see the bed was pretty filthy. The shower leaked. It was noisy - doors and room cleaning in the middle of the night. Breakfast was good and the staff was polite but I just would not recommend this hotel.
