Room was very clean with great view over fields from window. Staff helpful & personable. Breakfast very good & most welcome. A great place to stay.

Immaculate room in a great pub on the edge of the moor. Outstanding walking from the door and lovely garden to sit in as the sun goes down.

I love this little pub - second time I’ve stayed here while passing through. The owners and staff are lovely, the food is nice, the rooms are comfortable, and the area is stunningly gorgeous - I’ve been on some great walks along the Dart River and the other way onto Dartmoor. It’d be a great place to stay for a walking trip.

A decent small village pub right on the 2-Moors Way. They stock a reasonable range of home-cooked food, a variety of locally brewed beers (eg. Dartmoor & Bay), plus a massive variety of whiskies. The top floor 'suite' has sharply sloping ceilings, so take care if you are up there! We had a peek in the other rooms whilst there too, which are all very nice.
