Friendly staff, clean room

Large room with 2 queens , large tv,ironing board and iron, fridge, what more could you ask for? Staff friendly and helpful. We were there for our son's wedding, would highly recommend.

Beautiful lobby and kitchen, staff was exceptional, food was fantastic ! I was just upset i couldnt use the hottub it was absolutelypacked with people non stop, and there were kids diving in the pool past 9 so i didnt get to enjoy those amenities. Room was clean though, but i didn't have a view and no patio

Prestige in Sooke is a must stay. Clean, roomy rooms. Great location, beautiful views.

There was a very strange smell that came from the air fan in the room . there were no pool towels at the pool despite signs saying don't take your hotel towels to the pool because towels would be provided. otherwise it was a very lovely hotel and property

The room was beautiful, with high ceilings, plenty of space, and large windows that made it feel bright and peaceful. The hotel lobby was stylish, well furnished, and filled with natural light. It offered lovely views of the ocean and shoreline, creating a calm, luxurious atmosphere. The gym appeared to be very well equipped, although I didn’t have a chance to use it. The pool and jacuzzi were also enjoyable. The restaurant served excellent food made with locally sourced ingredients, along with a great selection of local draft beers. The service was outstanding, and the waterfront view from the restaurant was lovely. As it is a very busy place, early reservations are highly recommended. The downsides were the absence of a microwave and limited EV charging availability. There were two Tesla chargers and only one universal charging station, which was free of charge. It was often occupied, and we had to check multiple times to access it, which was inconvenient. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay. Thank you!

Large room with a large deck and a HUGE shower but unfortunately no tub for a bath

The room itself was clean and spacious. However, we were assigned a ground-floor room with windows facing the parking lot. The resort appeared to be only about 30–40% occupied. When we requested a room change, we were told the resort was fully booked and were instead offered an upgrade to an ocean-front room for an additional $30 per night. I specifically asked if we could move to another standard room, but the staff continued to say that all rooms were booked. Later, they added that because the reservation was made through a third-party app, they were unable to assist with a room change. On our last day, I asked for a one-hour late checkout, but again I was told that the room was already booked and that we had to check out at 11:00 AM. This was surprising given that check-in isn’t until 4:00 PM and the resort still seemed far from full. Another disappointing point was the firepit shown in the promotional photos. It appears inviting in the pictures, but in reality guests are only allowed to use it if they purchase food or beverages from the restaurant, which felt misleading. Lastly, as vegetarians, we found the dining options extremely limited. Aside from fries and salad, there were virtually no vegetarian choices available.

10/10 stay! ⭐️ The location is phenomenal, the rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the amenities were great. The staff was also incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Would absolutely stay here again when visiting Victoria!

The Hotel stafd weren't very friendly or welcoming when I checked in. The person at the front desk, Elizabeth, just kind of stood there and didn’t welcome me at all. They just kind of had a blank stare like they didn’t want to deal with me. I noticed the restaurant staff weren't much better either. They weren't friendly or personable at all, and the food was awful. The room itself smelt very musty and the decor was very drab and uninviting. The hotel pillows were terrible, all 5 of them were flst and lumpy. I woke up several times throughout the night with neck pain and a headache. The cleaning staff were extremely loud in the morning, slamming doors shut, and making a LOT of noise. They woke me up several times. The bathroom was good, the tub was good, and the bed itself was comfortable.

I had a comfortable stay at this clean resort. No complaonts. We had a lovely dinner at the restaurant. The staff was helpful and took great care of us. The pool was clean as well. We will be back.

Great location on the Sooke basin very good onsite restaurants and ask the desk for a robe and slippers to take for after swimming and hot tub relaxation

We had a beautiful ocean front room that was perfect when the morning sun hit! The bed was comfortable, bath clean (even included a TV facing the tub). We ate dinner at the restaurant. It is pricey but expected and was delicious. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. The only downside to our stay was the hydro going out for a few hrs in the evening that woke us up again when it came back on. Otherwise, lovely stay
