The furniture is outdated, the rooms have smoke smell, the shower is rusted on some of the rooms. The breakfast is pretty bad - not too much diversity, coffee is average. The hotel has a great location and good parking, if they would renovate it would be a very good hotel. The receptionist was ok, but he was not aware if there are any water boiling facilities in the room or not.

J'ai aimé la chambre spacieuse et le balcon avec vue sur le parc et le lac. Le restaurant est excellent mais il y a trop d'attente pour commander et entre les plats.

Zimmer geräumig und Bett sehr bequem. Frühstücksbuffet vielseitig. Lage im Herastrau-Park hat den Vorteil, dass es sehr ruhig und trotzdem nahe am Flughafen Otopeni ist. Uber in die Altstadt max.10 Min. und umgerechnet CH3.50. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal (der Enkel des Besitzers hat uns mal kurz und einfach so schnell in die Stadt gebracht weil grad kein Uber verfügbar war!) Highly recommended

The best thing about this hotel is its amazing location, in the middle of the park, very close to the clubs and the restaurants by the river. The staff was really nice, helpful and polite. Breakfast was nice and good value for money. I recommend it! The rooms are very spacious (we ordered one with a balcony and it was worth it as the weather was lovely and it was great spending the evening on the balcony). Totally recommend this hotel!

This is possibly the best hotel I have stayed in while in Romania. The staff was very friendly. The property was clean. The room was clean, warm, comfortable. The water was hot and the shower DIDN'T leak. The restaurant had good service and good food. The prices at the restaurant were commensurate with the service and food. Highly recommend this hotel and plan to go back.

the room was gorgeous! had a nice big balcony, room was very clean and spacious. the hotel is located by the lake, so I was able to go for a nice jog in the morning.

Location location, Location! Herastrau Complex sits on Herastrau Lake, the largest in Bucharest. The rooms are large, clean and some even have a balcony. The breakfast has everything you could possibly want and the dinner portions are quite large. They are currently doing renovations, but this does not impinge on your stay. Spring and Summer this is where you want to be.

Terrible sewerage odour upon entering the room, which in fairness dissipated after leaving the outer door open for 30 minutes or so. We had a double room but they gave us a single duvet. Found a couple of plates of food loitering at the top of a flight of stairs, one of which stayed there for three days next to a fire door propped open with a fire extinguisher. Quite a drab experience.

Very confortable hotel . Huge area inside herastrau Park. News the lake where you Can Walk or take a drink. Lots of restaurant and club. Very safe, clean, highly recomended. Only negative : you need a carico to reach metro.
