Nous n'avons passé qu'une seule nuit dans l'hôtel mais c'était absolument fantastique. Le personnel est adorable, très serviable et à l'écoute. Le parc est magnifique, on a aperçu des singes dans les arbres à plusieurs reprises. La piscine est splendide, immense, parfaitement entretenue. La villa est parfaite, la terrasse qui donne sur les rizières sublime. Pour l'anniversaire de mon conjoint le personnel m'a proposé de lui organiser un dîner aux chandelles près de la piscine, c'était délicieux, avec un gâteau d'anniversaire en plus ! Rien à redire, notre séjour était parfait.

Our stay at Uga Ulagalla could not have been more perfect. The accommodations, beautiful grounds and pool and staff were outstanding.

The hotel is spectacular. Calm and beautiful- our room was wonderfully spacious and had a stunning view out across our plunge pool and the paddy fields beyond. Staff went above and beyond , Yoshina was an absolute star! Thanks for the sarong tying lesson!

We had an incredible experience at Uga Ulagalla: the property is immense and filled with animals and rice fields. The villas are scattered around the property with no vis-a-vis, they are very large and all have their own pool. The common pool near the main building is also amazing. I cannot recommend this hotel enough, it is well worth the spend

This resort has a good reputation for a reason. Our stay here was truly magical. The resort grounds, staff, facilities, and food are hands-down the best we experienced in Sri Lanka. The spa is a must where Lina and her colleagues will pamper you like royalty. It was so very difficult to leave. We are already making plans to return. OsborneAdventures

Ulagalla is a sprawling estate that offers private chalets with plunge pools, amazing views, and incredible service.

Lovely hotel set in beautiful gardens. Attentive staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It’s spoiled us at the start of a 3 week trip to Sri Lanka. Our next hotel was a real let down after Ulagalla!!

Unbelievably charming hotel with lovely staff and owners who are very keen to look after their guests well. Delicious breakfasts and food. Used as base to visit Anuradhapura and Polonnawura and to do elephant safari. You won’t be disappointed - idyllic setting.

The property is located about 4 hours north of Colombo inna beautiful, tranquil environment. Upon arrival, we were greated by the staff and GM of the hotel and participated in a Welcome ritual. Check-in was fast and we were driven to our chalet with a buggy. The hotel only has 20 chalets (more new ones opening in Jan 2019) which are separated from each other, so guest can enjoy the nature in peace. The chalets are huge with a separate living room, bedroom and bathroom. Each chalet has 2 bikes, which guests can use to access the amenities around the property. Unfortunately we only stayed for 1-night; however the experience was quite unique. We got an aromatherapy massage, which felt amazing after a 30+ hour trip. We had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, which was expensive; however it was worth it as the quality of food and service was world class! The staff is all about making sure each guest is treated like a queen/king and leaves with an experience/memory of a lifetime! I highly recommend this hotel and woukd definitely stay here the next time I come to Sri Lanka!

A GREAT PLACE TO CHILL AND EXPERIENCE THE REAL SRI LANKA, HOTEL VERY EVRY GOOD AND ECO FRIENDLY, GREAT WILDLIFE FROM YOUR OWN POOL/DECK AREA....WE SAW BIRDS IF PREY, PEACOCKS, MONKEYS, GIANT SQUIRRELS, GECKOS AND KINGFISHERS. STAFF VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL.

Not for the faint hearted but if you are happy to live side by side with bugs, bats and monkeys, you will be richly rewarded with a unique experience that is second to none. Service is exceptional. Our stay was memorable - we will be back.

Fantastic hotel. Loved everything, location, room, food and wildlife. Unbeatable for a relaxing holiday. Room had a spacious lounge and bedroom, lovely bathroom with views over the tree canopy. Saw lots of animals playing outside. Beautiful grounds and organic garden. Enjoyed the bicycles and a relaxing massage. The reception, lounge, bar and dining room were very authentic and had a peaceful, relaxed ambience. Staff were so friendly and helpful and spoke very good English. So good we didn't want to leave.

Location is far from the Colombo airport but I did not regret my stay at all. We had a warm welcome by the friendly and considerate staff. Excellent turn down service every evening too. Highly recommend to all travellers to the city.

The location is quite far from any shops or restaurants. Each villa is an apartment located in the apart accessible by bikes provided or electric buggies on request. In fact there were no restaurants nearby but that seems to be the case in Sri Lanka. The food in the hotel was excellent and service was of the highest standard. It is the place to go if you want to be away from the crowd however if you want excursions, these can be arranged by the hotel.

Absolutely fantastic experience. The staff are so attentive with nothing too much trouble. The setting is perfect with lots of wildlife to see and the bungalows are spacious and well appointed.

Sehr schönes Frühstück, sehr schöner Garten u Poolbereich Sehr persönliche und freundliche Atmosphäre und guter Service, wobei Service bei Restauration etwas weniger effizient als in den anderen Bereichen.
