I'm not sure about it being a 4 star, but it is a good hotel. We had problems with Parking - there is not much space for bigger cars and only 6 spaces. On-street parking needs a disc and we couldn't find where to get one so we parked on an NCP next to the mini golf. On-site was a bar, but I never worked out how to get a beer. Everything was OK with the room. Beds were comfy. Could have done with chairs that matched. >>Positives Quiet place with very little noise at all Microwave and fridge in the room were useful >>Needs Improvements Curtains were thin Shower control was really hard to move Items left in drawers Some areas had peeling paint Not enough plugs near beds Would stay here agin.

Comfortable double room on top floor on north bay seafront nr cricket ground.Apart from having to wait an hr for a locksmith as locked was jammed when i arrived and no lift and no breakfast though reviews mentioned previously there was.Staff friendly.Nice downstairs lounge with free tea and coffee.

I enjoyed most of my time here but was very disappointed to find out that my toilet and shower was down the other end of the corridor. It was private and clean but when you wake up in middle of the night needing the loo it is not convienient to have to get fully dressed before using the facilities. I thought I was in a room with ensuite facilities so this was a big downer on an otherwise fantastic hotel

Stayed here on a solo visit whilst visiting Scarborough open air Theatre, the room was lovey and great value , the bed was so comfy I slept till 9am . This was a lovely stay & would stay here again . Thank you

Very smart interior. All amenities their. wi.fi. Fan in room very welcome. Easy to get to north beach or to walk to town or south beach. Very informative member of staff greeted us. Everything very clean.

The property was excellent with good parking. Kettle and biscuits provide.Only coment is that it is called a b&b but it does not provide a breakfast.

Good comfortable room for a single traveller, and relatively cheap too

I asked for a room with en-suite and was upgraded to a lovely family room. I was able to store my bike safely indoors too.

Room was at the top of the hotel, up lots of very narrow stairs, very basic room which felt more like a spare room, hotel is definitely not a 4 star, struggle to be a 2 Room was very dated and small things werent right, the bedside light fitting was ver loose, the ceiling had decor missing, the wallpaper is like something out of the eighties, the room was tiny, cold and very unwelcoming, the only thing this hotel provided above a 2 star was the toilet roll. Even the water cups were white plastic vending machine type. We wont be going back I understand that you get what you pay for but we were still very much overcharged. The only positive was the young lady that welcomed us, she was very polite and cheery.
