We had a delightful 3 night stay at The Lamb. The location was perfect for visiting the beautiful villages of the Cotswolds. From the moment we arrived the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Our room was lovely and spotless, we did appreciate the two big fans in the room as the temperature was top 20’s . Do think the big bathroom would benefit from a few cosmetic additions to make it cosier. Our meal in the evening was first class and very reasonable. I paid extra one morning to have eggs and wild mushrooms on toast and so glad I did , it was delicious. The only negative for me was the garden, lots of bench tables but feel the area on the lawn could have had some comfy seats for residents to sit in the evening . Will definitely stay here again

On arrival staff was very welcoming, there was a double booking for our room so we were given the best room if the house. It was lovely, had a very spacious bath with a view, although, if you just wanted to have a shower there was no facilities to hold the shower head up, no towel rails, the sink was beautiful but unfortunately too high for me, I am just over five foot tall. Bed was comfortable room was very clean, had 3 fans in the room which is the best in this warm weather. Dinner was perfect, we had a new staff member who appeared to be very kind, maybe senior staff should give her more go ahead in serving the customers, this will be great for her self esteem and helpful to service the customers. Unfortunately breakfast was a let down, no cheese, ham coffee, fruit and pasties left. Maybe it will help making customers aware that the breakfast menu is not included in the price. Overall, we would stay there again, but probably go elsewhere for breakfast.

What an awesome hotel, everyone was friendly. No air conditiioning, but we survived well. Don't think that if you are from the states, you should rent a car. There are plenty of options for transportation vendors, the hotel will provide you the contacts. Beautiful part of the world.

I almost do not want to review this place because I consider it my American little secret. Great Rissington is a gem close to everything but completely removed - with southern facing views to die for, and a five minute drive to Bourton / ten to Slaughters. Perfect location but beyond that this quaint lil hotel and restaurant is simply what you expect if you are Cameron Diaz in the Holiday. The ceilings are low if you are tall, but for a short person it is perfection in plaid and rich wood. The staff is lovely, the rooms are cozy and clean, and there is something about the way the birds chirp here in the morning that is unlike anyplace I have ever been. Bravo, Lamb Inn! Personalen var tillmötesgående och trevliga. Mysig, gammal byggnad som är väl underhållen. Enkel men fin frukost. Vi var mycket nöjda med boendet. Tyvärr fungerade inte el-laddningen vilket gjorde det lite besvärligt för oss. Vi bodde 3 på rummet så en fick sova i en extrasäng.

Lovely, homely country pub, with a perfect blend of traditional looking rooms, with plenty of modern furnishings and a luxury feel. Staff were all extremely friendly, from Amy helping with our booking to the serving staff behind the bar and in the morning - everyone was helpful, cheery and friendly. The bonus of continental breakfast included was a lovely touch, including pastries, toasts, ham, cheese, cereals, yoghurt, granola and fruit. Would absolutely recommend and happily stay here again.

Fantastic experience staying at the Lamb Inn. Super quiet and clean. Slept well and woke up to birds chirping. Also the food, drinks, service, and environment are all phenomenal. Highly recommend to everyone! We will come back again!

The staff were superb they couldn't do enough for us! We loved our spacious room, and the menu was interesting and delicious each night as well as a lovely breakfast. I would definitely revisit!
