Staff was great, the room was smaller the we had hoped

För mycket pengar för vad man får. Trångt, lyhört och opersonligt. Inte en lampa förutom taklampan, saknade hängare för jackor. Bra läge dock i centrala Amsterdam med gångavstånd till det mesta.

A wonderful hotel in the centre. The staff were friendly and amenable. The room was great, if you don’t mind stairs (which I don’t). There was also a very pleasant garden.

If booking for 5 people in one room Specify 1st floor Ground floor room has flies and no privacy All other rooms are good

Excellent location - metro/trams 2 min walk away but really not needed if you like walking. Reception opentil 12 midnight and staff very friendly and helpful. Shower lovely and hot. Beds comfy and rooms cleaned daily with clean towels. Hairdryer good. Kettke in room butno tea/coffee supplied so take your own.

I liked the look of the property and being close to the canal. I did not like the mice that chewed through all our food packages and made a mess of the counter in our room and bathroom floor.

In general, a decent hotel with a great location. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The rooms and general condition of the premises are pretty worn out. Overall, a great hotel for the price. I’d definitely recommend others to pick this hotel if they are going to Amsterdam and are looking for a calm area, yet still close to the city center and RAI.

Good property to stay at. Walkable distance to everywhere, metro 5 minute walk away which was helpful. Only negative was the amount of stairs to get to the room.

I stayed here for a last-minute, budget-friendly holiday, and it was a great choice! I had some doubts after reading mixed reviews, but everything turned out better than expected. The location is excellent – just a short walk to shops and tourist spots. I highly recommend using the metro to and from Central Station; it’s super easy and much cheaper. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable. The only minor issues were the thin walls (I could hear the neighbours, but they were fine) and the water taking a bit longer to heat up late at night – but no big deal. Stairs are a given with Amsterdam too so I didn't mind walking up the stairs. One of the highlights of my experience was meeting Jasmine, a staff member I spoke with towards the end of my stay. I didn’t interact much with anyone throughout my solo trip but our brief conversation left a lasting impression. She shared her experiences of living and studying in Amsterdam, and it was such an insightful chat. It truly made my get away complete. Wishing Jasmine all the best in her future endeavors – she’s truly a gem! For the price, it’s an excellent place to stay, and I’d recommend it for anyone looking for a budget-friendly option in a prime location.

Stadtzentrum in 5 Minuten erreichbar. Parkplätze Sehr teure. Die Gäste waren sehr laut in der Nacht. Sehr freundliche Personal. Zimmer war nur für Übernachtung ok, kein Platz für Frühstück, umziehen, zusammen sitzen und... Es war trotzdem gute Zeit in Amsterdam.

Todo muy bien, atentos, limpio, no hacían cambio de sábanas no es algo que me molestara pero nunca nos notificaron que no cambiaban sábanas. No tiene elevador al ser una edificio antiguo, nos hospedaron en el 5to piso. Las escaleras están lo que sigue de empinadas y con escalones en los que apenas cabe el pie para apoyarlo, complicado subir y bajar uno solo pues con maletas es un sufrir. Y no te brincan ayuda de nada para subir o bajar equipaje

It’s a great location. Walking distance to sites and a short walk to a bus tour stop, but the area is quiet and less crowded. It’s an old building and the rooms reflect that but they were clean and upgraded as much as possible. No elevator! And the stairs are old, spiral and narrow. We enjoyed the courtyard garden at the end of the day. As a family of 4 I booked the 4 single beds. But beware, these beds are more narrow than North American twin beds. My youngest fell off twice and I even fell off one night while sleeping!
