The Cuthbert House is a rare find. It’s a beautiful inn with a historical feel, much like the area. The staff is friendly. The owners go above and beyond to make you feel at home. They also have a happy hour with appetizers and even champagne if requested. The breakfast was delicious as well. You will not go wrong staying at the Cuthbert House.

Lovely B&B in a wonderful location.

Kan vara det mest fantastiska hotell vi bott på! Vackert hus där rummen går i gammaldags stil a la amerikanska södern. Veranda med korgstolar där man kunde sitta, gratis vin och tilltugg varje em, snacks, övrig dryck mm fanns att tillgå hela tiden. Otrolig personal, frukosten var magisk och underbar! Mycket trevliga ägare som tog sig tid att prata med gästerna. Rummet var stort, rent och på kvällen fanns en flaska vin och choklad på rummet, ljuvliga morgonrockar fanns också! Beaufort är en trevlig och mycket vacker stad och vi kommer gärna tillbaka!

The most beautiful place to stay in the lowcountry! The whole building is absolutely beautiful. Loved getting a tour so you know where everything is. Love how they have a social hour. The owners were out socializing with guests and it just made us feel so special. Our bed was so comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was top notch. Love how there’s free parking, complimentary drinks/snacks, turn down service and friendly staff. We cannot wait to be back in Beaufort so we can stay at the Cuthbert House again!

Amazing accommodations and service, everything was excellent!

We stayed at Cuthbert Inn as a home base for our family's marine graduation at Parris Island (a few miles across the bridge). The Inn is incredible with a killer porch view, snacks and cocktail hour, lovely back patio under Spanish Moss tree and a block from downtown Beaufort. But the best part of our experience was the personal attention! We got in very late and had snacks and drinks in our room (after texting us to check!). We had to leave prior to breakfast hour service and they packed our breakfast to go. Quiet, restful and top notch accommodations. We have stayed at some of the other waterfront mansions that is a lovely part of a Beaufort visit .... but this was by far our best and most exceptional stay! Book it!

Warm welcome at this beautiful, historic property! Fun social hour, great local tips from the owner and delicious breakfast the next morning. We will definitely return and would recommend to others!

Beautiful place to stay

This is a newly renovated gorgeous BNB. The breakfast and happy hour was spectacular and the night time treat was super yummy. They even had snacks and drinks for us anytime we wanted. We took advantage of the free bike rentals and could walk to restaurants and locals shops. The staff is super friendly. We had a great time. I highly recommend staying here.

By far the very best stay ever! The hospitality and attention to little details is astounding. This place treats you like royalty. The town is stunning. So much to do around the area also. What a memorable experience. Highly recommend this place.

Back in Switzerland and we are still very angry with Cuthbert House. We got an email 36 hours before traveling to this hotel informing us that our reservation is cancelled. They proposed that we stay in Savannah (we have been there already 3 days) or we stay longer in Charleston. Or stay another 3 days in Hilton Head. We come from Switzerland, this was our holiday trip and at east vacation time very difficult to book a decent hotel, even more so with a small dog. There were many phone calls and finally we decided to stay 3 more days in Hilton Head Island, Cuthbert House paid for it. What we are so angry about is the short notice and that we travel this far from Switzerland an cannot visit the place we wanted. Also that we had this stress and lost our precious time with phone calls to this properties. Then we saw on the Facebook site announcing opening on April 7. How can the accept reservations when they are not sure when they will be finished. Everything is very obscure and incomprehensible. They really manage to sabotage part of our most awaited trip in the South Carolina. And can you imagine? We are asked by email how we found our stay in Cuthbert House!!
