We booked this property as it appeared to be the most suitable option near the train station. We were warmly welcomed and promptly received our room without delay. The room was spacious, with the exception of the bathroom, where there was limited storage space for toiletries. The toilet paper was positioned in an inconvenient location adjacent to the sink. The towels and amenities were adequate, but the linens on the bed were of satisfactory quality, while the pillow was excessively limp, lacking the firmness of a conventional pillow. Despite these minor shortcomings, the room was clean and adequate for a single night’s stay.

Very conveniently located, a 4-minute walk to the train station and a 15-20-minute walk to the center of Ghent.

The rooms are bright, airy, and thoughtfully designed, featuring modern amenities such as a flat-screen TV, tea and coffee facilities, and a private bathroom equipped with a hairdryer. The attention to detail in the room decor creates a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere, making it an ideal retreat after a day of exploring the city. The hotel also offers a delightful continental breakfast, served in a spacious dining area. With fresh coffee, fruit juices, and a selection of cereals, it's the perfect way to start your day.

Our group of friends enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Rooms are huge. Nice amenities. Very close to train station. A nice coffee shop and 2 pastries shops nearby

Nice and convenient if you are traveling on train, the station is a couple of minutes away as well as tram stops, but at a walking distance to downtown Ghant.

The staff was very welcoming and friendly. They even let us check in early since a room was available. The hotel room was very clean and felt very safe! We would stay again next time!

It was very last minute to make reservation. Though their service and support is just excellent. The shower pressure is a bit shy but it is totally OK. I love this hotel.

This is a small and very friendly hotel. We felt very welcomed. Amazing breakfast cooked to order. A room with views across the city. We have stayed in some of the larger 4/5 star hotels in Ghent previously and this was all round a much more pleasant stay.

This lodging was ideal for a visit to Ghent. I picked it for its location (5 minute walk from StPieters train station but loved everything about it. Staff was friendly, efficient and very helpful. Room was large by European standards. Buffet breakfast (with made to order eggs and mini pancakes) was excellent. Its location near the train station and tram stop made it easy to get to and from Brussels and to get into the historic center for sightseeing. The hotel even sold the Ghent City card - worth it if you visit at least most of the sights in town and use the tram. If I could I would rate this lodging an 11 out of 10. We are world travelers and this place is a gem. Also around the corner is Traiteur Toulouse - excellent food at a reasonable price. Also recommended by the hotel.

Carlton was great, so handy to the train station, 20 minute stroll into the old town, staff were so helpful giving some site seeing tips. Certainly value for money and have no issues recommending a stay

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Carlton. Hotel is steps from the train station which was very convenient. Staff was incredibly friendly, and breakfast was great! We highly recommend this hotel.

This was my first time staying in Belgium, and I had a very comfortable experience. The room was spacious, allowing me to relax and unwind. The access from the station and the convenience of public transportation were excellent, and there were plenty of restaurants in the surrounding area. Although it was just a one-night stay this time, I would love to stay longer on my next visit.

Keurig hotel op een rustige straat. Personeel was zeer vriendelijk, en zette zelfs een stapje extra voor ons.

Excellent location and comfortable rooms for a short stay in Ghent. The nearby station allows you to go to all nearby cities and get back during the day.
