Friendly staff, easy to converse with in English. Property was clean and beautiful. Restaurant was delicious with amazing views of the bay! The area was quiet with great dining and convenience options. We loved every moment at Hotel Mary

Our stay was amazing! The hotel is beautiful and updated with good size rooms (family room for 2 adults, 2 kids). Accommodations very comfortable! Staff were excellent! I have to mention and recognize Vincenzo, the restaurant manager, who was so nice, accommodating and professional...he truly made us feel welcome and appreciated us for visiting! Also, Davide from the front desk/concierge was excellent in his recommendations, from arranging the Capri boat tour, transportation and for other local recommendations! Pool was great and Sea Club nice, both with wonderful views (although swimming at the Sea Club was in open waters near rocks so not overly kid friendly, but kids loved the pool). Located within walking distance of a small, quaint town and a 15-20 minute local train ride into Sorrento. Overall, a great place to stay and would happily return and recommend to others!!

This hotel is a hidden gem on the coast. We had booked this hotel after staying three days and beautiful Positano to stay in after our trip to Pompeii. It exceeded our expectations. The infinity pool was incredible and it is even more beautiful than the photos depict. The food was delicious. We had cocktails in the bar, which were perfection and we highly recommend eating at the hotel restaurant where the food was out of this world. The staff, including Vincenzo were so helpful and made the experience five stars. There was also free valet parking, which made it be very easy with a car. We had a family suite which was two floors and really great for a family. Highly recommend if you are looking for a quaint hotel outside of Positano or Sorrento

Really impressed with this hotel, its facilities staff and service levels were all excellent. Only blip was being overcharged for the wrong bottle of wine but this was put right on checkout otherwise it’s be 5* Excellent instead of Good.

Absolutely phenomenal hotel all around. Rooms were clean, well kept, modern but charming. The balcony was lovely for the view and sunset. The pool deck was incredible and the view stunning. The staff were all so helpful and friendly. We had an outstanding meal at the restaurant there. I will never forget it. The hotel is about a ten minute walk into the square. There are some great shops and restaurants around. The train station is about a 15 minute walk and that can take you into Sorrento. Can’t say enough wonderful things about this hotel. It was perfection.

Beautiful hotel in lovely location away from the crowds of Sorrento but accessible to all of Amalfi. Top notch front desk and staff everyone within hotel. Would return and recommend to anyone wanting to experience the Amalfi in an off the beaten path way with all it has to offer.

Excellent service and friendly staff. My view was spectacular! Hotel was beautiful and the breakfast delicious. Loved the beach club! Staying here was the best part of our trip to Europe. Nicest people we interacted with were the staff here.

Stayed here for my fiancés birthday trip and it was conveniently near the train station, good food places and more. The hotel even has its own beach club and the staff is so nice! Will be coming back next year

Location and views

Property is on a steep road, but expected at the Amalfi Coast. Free valet parking. Walking into Vico Equense can be a bit of a challenge for older visitors. All eateries in town in 20 minutes or less walking distance., so is the trainstation. The pool, wellness center and property is exceptional and well maintained. Beach can be reached by hotel shuttle or walking (would not recommend, lots and lots of steps) A special shoutout to the front desk, anyone was extremely helpful and their English is perfect.

The staff is very nice, sincere, professional and friendly. The room is clean and has a nice view. It is very close to the city center with a lot of amenities. However, It is a challenge walk with luggages from the train station as the sidewalks are all made with cobblestone. This hotel does not have in house laundry facility. You need to walk 5 mins to a laundromat.

Such a wonderful hotel that I would highly recommend. Vico Equense is the perfect town to base yourself in and to enjoy a mix of day trips and pool days. The rooms were spotless and spacious, and the pool facilities were top notch. But it is the staff in particular that make this hotel stand out, especially Vincenzo the restaurant manager. His enthusiasm is infectious as he makes each and every guest feel special. His team take the lead from him and were all so attentive during our stay. An extra appreciation for the reception staff too who were so efficient and helpful. This hotel is a gem

Great experience at Mary Hotel. Welcoming staff, very clean and close to Sorrento and Amalfi coast.

Absolutely amazing from beginning to end. The customer service is phenomenal and the bartender/server Raffaele went above and beyond for us. I couldn’t give this hotel enough praise. Side note: if you want to go to Sorrento or Positano and don’t want to deal with the train & ferry, and don’t want to waste time on a bus, or don’t want to pay an outrageous cost for personal driver - rent a scooter. You can bypass all the cars and be able to take the backroads of southern Italy with the best views of your life. Just make sure to take pictures of your scooter first in case the rental spot tries to make you pay for a scratch you didn’t do. Again - the hotel is amazing and the customer service is 5 star. We will be back some day!

This is a great place to stay to tour the area. Breakfast service is great. Our major complaint was the noise. We stayed on the 2nd floor (executive room sea view) during restaurant hours there was a lot of noise from above, and during the evening you could hear a lot of noise from other rooms and in the hallway

Experiência muito boa! O hotel é lindo por dentro, e os funcionários são super gentis e educados, especialmente o Vicenzo. O café da manhã foi espetacular, e a vista da piscina é incomparável. Amamos! Nossas únicas considerações são: o andar de cima no quarto família é um pouco abafado por não ter janela, e faltou algum espelho decente neste andar, pois o do banheiro é minúsculo😅 A piscina também não possui aquecimento, tornando seu uso difícil se não for um dia extremamente quente. No geral, adoramos e voltaríamos com certeza!
