We, a family of four, stayed in a very big and nice room with a lovely bathroom. The hotel is right inside the city walls and once you learned to navigate the squares and the narrow streets you realise that you are in a perfect spot. Two minutes walk to beautiful Peristyle square and two minutes to the Riva (the lovely waterfront promenade). The breakfast was ok but I think the location and the rooms are the big winners. O’yes, lovely pizza place right opposite the breakfast location. We went on a day trip to Hvar which was very nice as well. All in all, highly recommended and would love to come back.

I booked the largest and most expensive room in the hotel because I was traveling with my family. It was advertised as a king bedroom with a separate room containing two twin beds. Instead, the “second bedroom” was really part of the attic with no door, an extremely low ceiling that my children kept hitting their heads on, and the room was full of bugs. Everything was old, worn, and not as advertised. The biggest issue was that the air conditioning didn’t work. With temperatures over 90°F, the hotel only provided two fans, which did nothing to cool the room. The next day we were moved to a much smaller room and were told we would be refunded the difference. Unfortunately, the hotel repeatedly delayed resolving the refund. They initially said they would handle it directly, telling me each day to wait for the manager. On our last day, they suddenly told me to go through Hotels.com instead. By then, I had missed the opportunity to adjust the reservation myself. The actual price difference was nearly more per night, but the hotel told Expedia it was a fraction of that. significantly reducing the refund I should have received. Cleanliness was another major issue. I observed breakfast staff reusing unused napkins and food left by previous guests, there were leaks from the ceiling, standing water in common areas, and the hotel generally felt dirty and poorly maintained.

The location is amazing, right in the center of the old palace. The staff was the highlight. They were really knowledgeable, happy to help, and very competent.

Bra läge, men det var också det enda! Frukosten under all kritik! 2 dagar gammalt bröd och croissants… Inget var färskt. Vatten på rummet ingick inte. Slitet hotell med stort underhållsbehov. Fick ett halvt glas vin när jag beställde ett glas vin och lemonaden gick inte att dricka. Lite citron utrört med vatten. Detta var ett 3-stjärnigt hotell, inte 4-stjärnigt!

No tuvimos Aire acondicionado en la habitación , siendo un calor de 34 grados . nunca solucionaron el problema.

The AC really bad. Only two pillows. The TV did not work.

Hotel incrível, atendimento personalizado, quarto maravilhoso

We found dirty wet beachtowels in the closet, wich was really groase. The worst part was that the employees did not appologize ( or offer any compensation, like complimentary drinks). Breakfast was ok, but not more than that.

The hotel is in a great location, centralised, perfect logistically for being on foot, sightseeing, beach and catching transfers be it taxi, ferries, bus and train The staff were very friendly and check in easy. Our room for a family of three, was as expected. Great air con in the heat and clean, comfortable beds. However, it was the worst sleep we've had on a city break at a hotel. On consecutive nights we were woken multiple times in the early hours by other residents partying, hammering doors due to forgotten keys, having chats on their mobile devices sat on the stairwell outside our room. It spoilt our experience of Split somewhat in which is a very beautiful city. We were left querying how a night manager wasn't aware of this and left it to us to put up with it! Breakfast hit the spot, nothing to really write about, other than the coffee machine. It always breaks!

Room was spotless! Location was excellent, very quiet. The staff manning the front desk were very helpful by answering questions, providing directions and recommendations. The included breakfast was very nice, with an outside patio. I highly recommend.

We booked this hotel last minute after our other accommodations cancelled on us and were so glad we did. Right in the middle of the old town within walking distance to everything. The rooms were nice and clean and the staff was so friendly and helpful.

Welcomimg and very friendly staff- informative and helful. Re eptiom syagf assisted with parking that made matters much easier to park hired var overnight. There is a need to walk some disyance to hotel- not easy if have any mobility difficulties or with childten / pram. Not easy to take large suitcase- easier to leave in car and takesmall bag onlt if staying overnight

Amazing Location if you’re getting there on a cab and don’t mind to carry some luggage through an old town. Not the best if you’re traveling in a car, but it’s doable as we did. The staff was very kind and helpful and breakfast had amazing pastries.

We stayed one night and staff helped us with luggage hold, airport transfer and helping us go to a local beach. The breakfast buffet was awesome!

Imagine staying within the wall of Diocletian palace! The room has all the amenities when we need. Breakfast was filling. Staff helpful and readily available. Fantastic hotel

Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Our room was lovely. Right in the heart of the Old City, excellent restaurants within minutes.
