Staff were great at check in and at breakfast. Nice to have breakfast available before carrying on with our trip.

Great hotel with nice aminities and quiet although located close to HWY 1.

Was a motel, not a hotel. View was fabulous, (we had room in the back) Bathroom very small, but separate sink which was good.

The outside patio was amazing.

All over it was good … morning breakfast service and food was so delicious, lots of options for eating …Rooms were good to , but just a request may be in the room we need one mirror for getting dressed for families . Rest is amazing … We love to stay …

Overall our stay at the hotel was very good. My wife and I were on our honeymoon and when mentioning this to the front desk as our reason for the stay we were upgraded at no additional cost to the honeymoon suite, though it was not expected and definitely a pleasant surprise. The facility itself was upkept and had amazing views. Though the room wasn't the cleanest. mostly everything on the surface and the things that you would interact with regularly in a hotel room were fresh and cleaned. But there was a couple aspects that could definitely use more attention than a simple wipe down. Overall, it was a terrific day and if we’re ever planning to stay in Golden again we would be willing to bring our business back.

Property needs maintenance. Hot tub not really working. Rooms are grotty. Needs new paint, better beds. Just very low brow. Not worth close to $300 a night

I do not recommend staying at this hotel. The room smelled and when the a/c turned on it made the room smell worse. The door lock did not lock all the way. The beds were very uncomfortable as you could feel the springs! Sheets had a stain. The bathroom floor vent was dirty and rusty. The building is going under renovations but not for the better. The indoor pool was cold and the floor and pool area dirty and too much chlorine. The dining area was ok but the booths were very tight and the breakfast was not the best. Bruised bananas and that's it for fruit. Oatmeal in a bag. Terrible just Terrible!! This chain should be ashamed. We paid $300.00 CND. Never again.

The view is spectacular. The pool and slide are fun and the restaurant is decent. The pizza is actually really amazing. Other than that… this place needs a lot of help. Every window screen was broken, the carpet felt old and dirty. The bathroom faucet was broken and sprayed everywhere. The hot tub jets didn’t work, the pool was probably too heavily chlorinated which made all of us cough just being in the room. But the kids had a blast on the slide. All in all, it’s a 2-3 out of 5. We would consider staying there again if we could ensure we got a room with a mountain view.

Rooms ware clean and the location is very good close to downtown and many restaurants plus very close to highway

Old room, washroom overhead fan cover was missing. Heater was not working. Toiletries were not given and was asked to request if needed. What a joke! We paid 172 cad/night, not worth to stay. The room needs renovation. The ownership shows a cheap mentality to give at least a moderate service for the money. The breakfast was good.
