Magnificent landmark hotel.

Un joyau architectural et un site historique . DOMMAGE .Hôtel vieillot, mal entretenu,propreté très superficielle, wifi d’un autre âge . Pour ceux qui cherchent un HÔTEL, je ne recommande absolument pas .

Nous avons passé un excellent séjours. Nous avions une chambre double deluxe avec vue sur la mer, grandiose ! Très belle piscine L’établissement a beaucoup de charme , nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

Very historic and beautiful

Nous avons réservé cet hotel pour la troisième fois en 4 ans et nous constatons chaque année une régression globale du service proposé. L'Hotel et le cadre restent très agréables, mais il est dommage que ce lieu riche d'histoire ne soit pas mieux entretenu. Les chambres demanderaient plus de rénovation et d'entretien. Le buffet du petit déjeuner n'est pas à la hauteur du standing de l'hotel !!! Nous avons du également systématiquement demandé le recodage de la carte/clef de la chambre, tous les jours.

It is a famous lokation with a wonderful garden. Unfortunately the pool was closed and the staff is sometimes inconvient if you have special requests.

Ich mochte das Interieur im Hotel. Der Botanische Garten und die Sitzplätze im Freien, im Schatten waren sehr angenehm und schön.

Il manque un peu d'organisation et de rapidité dans le service client. La propreté du restaurant laisse également à désirer et nécessiterait un personnel qualifié

Beautiful hotel centrally located with incredible heritage but unfortunately not well maintained. The pool area was run down, the service very average (forgot to refill water, room not clean at arrival etc) but room with beautiful views and staff very friendly

The El Djazaïr hotel is a unique place in Algiers, with a special atmosphere. It's not the most luxurious or modern, and the service can sometimes be rough. But its Moorish-style architecture, ceramic decor, and garden make for a charming stay. On a practical level, breakfast is particularly varied, and the restaurant is a good option for dinner. The most negative point is the very late noise when there's a wedding... or when the tennis court is cleaned too early. You'll need multi-plugs to charge electronic devices from the room's only socket. Very good price for the value and atmosphere if you don't feel lost elsewhere than in an international chain hotel.

Great gardens, terrace, bar service, location, comfort, professional.

Old fashion hotel. Rooms are old - clean, but used. Lot of local history, quiet location in the middle of city. Nice garden and restaurant. Chinese restaurant.

Nice time in Alger. Hotel is good, OK. Chinese restaurant is fine, breakfast also OK.

Hotel tres agréable, personnel aux petits soins et tres efficace, decoration orientale superbe. Vue magnifique sur la ville et la mer. A recommander particulièrement. Chambre (sup.) extra . Restauration variée, copieuse et de bon niveau

Trés bel hôtel, propre mais mériterait quelques aménagements dans les chambres pour les mettre aux normes actuelles.

Public areas well maintained and historical nature of the property well preserved. Grounds are pleasant. Bedroom old fashioned and in need of updates. Large bedroom and bed. Bar had good selection of drinks and attentive service. Comprehensive breakfast selection, bar food order disappointing.

Séjour de 6 jours à l’hôtel El Djazair très bon rapport qualité prix. Restaurant au top, chambre traditionnelle très agréable. N’hésitez pas à se servir du service taxis au top voiture très propre et chauffeur expérimenté pour un prix modique. Préférer les étages supérieurs à partir du 4 eme car de nombreuses familles viennent fêter les mariages dans ce lieu prestigieux
