Stayed one night, great hotel and atmosphere however food and drink very expensive

Great hotel, friendly staff and amazing food

Lovely clean room. Comfortable bed. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Provided me with extra cup of fresh milk for making drinks in my room. Food was lovely. Only disappointments for me were that I had presumed our room was in the main building with a lift but was in a separate building up a slope and with a flight of stairs. I have poor mobility which was a problem but I had not checked this out beforehand Lesson learned. Also the Spa is not next door but is a short walk away and costs £40 for two to have one swim session. Seems expensive to me , maybe not to others. Still it was a lovely stay

The Hotel its self is stunning, beautiful period building and amazing grounds. What let this hotel down was: The floors in bedrooms were still quite dirty and furnishing/wall fixtures were dusty. Information about our stay was handed on a piece of paper and I would expect it to be in the room. Not a bad thing, but generally passwords, restaurant opening times etc would not be on a handout. We were told the bar closed at 4pm Saturday so our party stayed out, when actually we could of all come back and been able to grab a “nightcap” before midnight ( after a very difficult day attending our friends funeral and wake, we would have preferred to be in a more relaxed atmosphere instead of a busy town) Sunday morning breakfast was chaotic, and felt very rushed. The senior staff appeared to be a female, who not only closed the restaurant door and demanded we go another way, but continued to stomp around , slamming doors, cups and cutlery like her job was an inconvenience. This made me feel very uncomfortable, heightened my anxiety and others in my party felt like we didn’t belong there. This was the downfall of our already emotional visit to Fladbury. Also regarding breakfast, the eggs Royale and Benedict were cold and the full English lacked sustenance, one sausage and slice or bacon for the price of £25 seems a little disappointing.

Front of house and restaurant staff amazing. Very helpful. Great breakfast, plenty of choice.

The room and property were clean. If not staying in the main house be prepared to carry bags upstairs.

The restarant food was very good albeit a little over priced, and a nuce selection on the breakfast menu.

Lovely grounds and building. The staff, especially Shabila, were welcoming. Shabila is relentless in ensuring that everything is satisfactory. We stayed on a Sunday and so it wasn’t busy and there was a relaxed atmosphere. Excellent evening meal and breakfast. We had a good price for the room, so it was excellent value for money. The only suggestion would be to look at the heating in the Pear Tree rooms. It was very hot.

Ok breakfast sauce wasn’t good and was under cooked bacon a bit tasteless. Staff v pleasant in breakfast room

The reception at the hotel was excellent, however the evening menu and food was disappointing.

Went to stay here for a night with my husband and loved it. I loved the bath in my room as the water pressure was good and I could watch the tv while I was in the bath. The grounds were amazing and I can imagine how it would look in the summer months. The buildings themselves were very well maintained and absolutely stunning. We had breakfast with our stay too which was spot on too. Would definitely come back again. x

Bed super comfortable, very clean sheets and linen, good breakfast and nice service.

Lovely hotel, beautiful old main house with wood fires, panelled rooms, lots of lounges and spots to relax. Friendly reception and clean modern rooms in the mews. Plus two cats! Only thing to mention is that the signs for the outbuildings were a bit difficult to see when we arrived (in the dark & heavy rain), maybe they could be illuminated too? Otherwise a nice place to stay, we would like to go back and explore more of the history, grounds, bunker and restaurant.

Nice room, good WiFi, nice location, great staff especially the lady at breakfast, she was first class. Can't wait to stay again.

Expedia advertised the hotel as family friendly but it is not.

Very comfortable room, a comfy chair each! (Unusual in most hotels). Nice lounges and dining room. Lovely views. Very friendly helpful staff, very well trained. The bar looked good but we didn’t use it. Comfortable bed though I had to fluff to duvet up to the top of the cover. Very good breakfasts with plenty of variety.

Every was good and an enjoyable evening meal

Everything was perfect, hotel, food, facilities. We couldn’t have asked for more. Cleanlines was excellent and the staff were lovely and very friendly .
