BEST BED & BREAKFAST STAY EVER! Such a gem within the gem of a city of Carlisle.

Comfortable and very quiet location in Carlisle. It's within easily walking distance of downtown. Parking can be challenging, but not as impossible as some other locations we visited in the UK. Breakfast was very good. The building and bedroom both had "character", Not a cookie cutter hotel room.

Room was lovely. Breakfast made fresh and was delicious hot and cereals fruit yoghurts and pastries couldn’t fault it. Staff very friendly and helpful nothing seemed too much trouble. Parking for two cars.

Clean and comfortable. Our room was spacious and attractively decorated. Breakfast was good. Our room faced a fairly busy road, although it got a lot quieter at night. We would happily stay again. This was the best value room we had while walking Hardrian's Wall.

Nice clean room, very well located, very nice breakfast 10/10.

Very comfy room, with a hot shower. Nicely decorated with lots of lamps providing pleasant lighting, with armchairs to loll in and read. Quite a grand building, with interesting decor throughout; paperback books in shelves. Breakfast was very good too.

Excellent location, lovely room, great host

From talking with other travelers I'm not sure this is the best Carlisle option, but it was quite nice. The house is lovely, though there are 3 floors so if you have heavy luggage you may one to request a lower one! Our room was at the top, two single beds, quite spacious, with a nice en suite. The breakfast was very good, and we had enough to make a small sandwich to take on the road as well. The landlady was sweet and helpful.
