The room was spotless, the staff were courteous, the breakfast was delicious, the location was perfect, the pool was beautiful. My one regret is that I could not stay longer.

Property is quite old and run down, lift is super slow, and the reception told me I didn’t have WiFi so it’s my iPhones issue???? Not the case! But on a positive it’s a great location in a great area, just don’t say you have WiFi when you obviously don’t!

Beautiful hotel, spotless room, comfortable bed, wonderful breakfast, lovely pool and outdoor patio, welcoming and helpful staff, plus a great location close to numerous restaurants, shops and activities.

We enjoyed our stay at 1828 Smart Hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a spot in BA. The location in Palermo gave us the neighborhood feel we wanted with access to lots of restaurants and shops. Our suite was very comfortable and clean, and we used the outdoor tub every day. The staff was very nice and helpful, responding to anything we needed quickly and effectively. We also appreciated the security measures in place to make sure we felt safe and taken care of during the stay.

Wonderful hotel, amazing beds. Perfect location, near to many dining options within walking distance. Staff was fantastic, as they went above and beyond to help us resolve some flight issues we had. Would 100% stay here again.

Really nice staff - Ruben was so kind helping us find some resources around town and giving us full details on what we needed. Our rooms were perfect, the beds were great/truly comfortable. The staff is suburb and although I thought that the elevator would be loud in the room, I never heard it. The bathroom amenities are nice - neutral body products. The air worked well without being loud (sometimes it's truly annoying at hotels), the shades completely darkened the room, the pillows were mighty comfortable and the safe was ample for computer and other necessary items to fit without a problem. The "closet" hang bar was ample as were the shelves for unpacking and staying organized. The location is convenient. The only bit that was annoying was the slowness of the elevator, which was manageable because I took the stairs when i wasn't with my luggage. Internet worked well. All around nice stay, punctuated with - I'll say it again - really excellent staff. Thank you.
