This hotel is in a great location, very central in Canmore so it makes it walkable to restaurants/shops. When we arrived our room was mostly clean, minus you could tell they didn’t wipe surfaces down as there was makeup marks all over the counters I the bathroom. The only downside to our stay was if you’re a light sleeper, the walls are quite thin, you hear all activity outside your room and the fact that they say there is Parking (1 stall per group) but there isn’t. So if you go out at night and you’re driving you aren’t likely to get a parking spot so you have to street park. All around though, I would definitely stay here again

Great location in Canmore. Rooms were dark and noisy. Could hear every footstep of guests walking on the second floor. The building itself also made a lot of noises. Couch wasn’t very comfortable. The room blew a fuse when using the blow drier. If you’re not going to be in the room a lot it’s a decent place to sleep if you aren’t a light sleeper. Their shuttle service to the spa was very handy.

The Good: Beautiful, Renovated Rooms I’ll start with the positives: the room was excellent. It was spotlessly clean, well-furnished, and clearly newly renovated. The bed was very comfortable, which we appreciated after a long drive. If you are looking strictly for a nice place to sleep, this hotel delivers. The Bad: Lack of Transparency & Communication Our check-in experience was frustrating. We arrived at 3:00 PM during a winter storm and asked for an early check-in. The front desk told us housekeeping wasn't finished and they would "let us know" if it opened up before 4:00 PM. However, we were parked right outside our room and actually spoke with the housekeeping staff, who told us the room was completely ready. We watched the door for the next hour; no one entered or exited, yet the electronic lock remained disabled until exactly 4:00 PM. I would have much preferred a straightforward "Our policy is 4:00 PM sharp" rather than being told a lie about the room's status while we waited in a storm. The Disappointing: Out-of-Service Amenities We booked a two-day stay specifically looking forward to the hot tub, but it was shut off the entire time. When we asked, we were simply told it was "beyond their control" with no further explanation. It’s disappointing to pay full price for a stay when major advertised amenities aren't available.

Amazing location, walkable to everywhere in Canmore after a day of skiing or hiking. Hot tub was perfect, with a view of the mountains. Clean room, comfy bed and linens.
